I am impressed with how fast he is in the video on this page that is free.  In the right lower corner of the video--you can click to make it larger. Wowsa.

Justius Lowe, Lake Oswego 3-star WR/CB, commits to Oregon Ducks - oregonlive.com

Mr. FishDuck

I heard he runs 11 flat 100. Not elite speed but very respectable.  Hopefully the coaching staff can help him get a little quicker.

Develop!

The interesting thing is that his QB absolutely locked in on him from the snap...the defense knew right where the ball was going and they still could not stay with him.

11 second hundred is slower than most hockey players up here. I sure hope he's faster than that for college football...

Without getting into 10 yard split times for the hundred, you have hockey players running a 4.0 40?

Er....rubber BBs on the synthetic turf!

Looks sub 11 to me. Reminds me of Xavier Worthy a year or two back, speedster who flew up the ratings boards late and finally signed with Texas.

Andrew Paul’s tape is super impressive too. Solid measurables and huge productivity. Really makes me question the ratings services.

Again have to remember with covid everything is messed up.

This kid has only played 3 years of football. His ceiling is very high.

The LO football coach says he thinks Justius is an exceptional athlete.

One local sports writer thinks the difference between JL and Darius Clemons is minimal.

I think we landed a "diamond in the rough".

Haha..... no...

but a 11 second hundred is pretty common for commoner kids in grade 10 up here.

We may be confusing meters and yards here.

It's 2022 man. Not 1986. Also, nobody runs the "100 yard dash" anymore, since war times. The 40... I would bet you any amount of beer and a good steak that a kid that runs a 4.4 or 4.5 forty YARD dash is a 10.5 or better 100 METER runner.

I ran 11 in college. Trust me it is not that fast. The track guys beat my butt.

Pretty good take on Justius here.

This guy for the Utes is blown away. Says Lowe's polished with tremendous route running. Runs by people who are 10yrd off him. No way is he a 4.47 40, more like 4.40. Says he's the best WR that he's seen on tape for the Utes recruits this year. Says he will contribute 1st year.

Wow I love diamonds in the rough Go Lowe Fly High.

Oh I love that....you gotta bring that up this fall!

Mr. FishDuck

Just noticed it. Ha

There is track fast and football fast sometimes too. Put the pads on some track guys and they lose a lot of speed. Having a quick burst of speed is often more important in football. This guy was running even with guys and then suddenly running a way from them like they were standing still. His football speed looks great.
