  1. X marks Jeremiah Smith. He said, "You can't cover me 1 on 1" as the saying goes, if it's true it ain't braggin'. 6'3, 219 and OBD were trying to jam him up with CB's who were 5'10, 180. None of OBD's WR's are that, but DeVonta Smith, 6'0 170, won the 2020 Heisman.
  2. ESPN's Pete Thamel defends Fox 'Big Noon' TV window AWFULANNOUNCING.COM ESPN college football reporter Pete Thamel recently defended Fox's "Big Noon Saturday" television window, despite fan...
  3. So, there is one time, that I know of, when 3 letters, 2 of them the same, the other identical, form two words. The letters are in different order, the sound is the same, but the meanings are different. What are the two words?
  4. "Opportunity" is definitely how Lanning looks at things, sometimes OBD take advantage of them, sometimes they don't, but that is the positive approach. I agree with the idea of Lowe and the observation that there a lot opportunities in Oregon's WR Room, and whatever room Sadiq wants.
  5. Could not agree more! Part of baseball is the aesthetics. The sound of a solid hit is as good as there is in sports. Imagine this scene in "the Natural" if Roy Hobbs had an aluminum bat!
  6. It didn't start well for the Beavs in their winner takes all game against FSU in the Corvallis Super Regional. The Beavs started a freshman pitcher, he got the first guy out, the next hit a double of the left field wall, the next guy it over the wall. 2-0, Beavs coming to bat. Beavs scored 7, including back to back to back home runs. FSU put 1 up in the 2nd. In the 3rd, the Beavs scored 6, 4 on a grand slam. So far, the Beavs have a 1 run homer, a 2 run homer, a 3 run homer & the grand slam. Bottom of the 4th, 13-3. Tell me Jameis, could this one go either way?
  7. Remember, Okie only plays Alabama once...and I don't know, 7.5 looks okay for the Trojans. Five college football teams that will surpass 2025 win projections WWW.YARDBARKER.COM With the strength of college football conferences such as the Big Ten or SEC, predicting win totals has become more difficult than...
  8. The writer's sole reason for putting Oregon at No.9 is that Oregon has too many great uniforms. I don't see a difference between Rutgers and Indiana, or Wisconsin for that matter. But Iowa No.1 makes no sense at all.
  9. The whole article doesn't make sense; the writer has Iowa's rip-off of the Pittsburgh Steelers No.1 of B1G football uniforms. Ranking all 18 Big Ten football uniforms from worst to first SPORTS.YAHOO.COM A fresh look at the Big Ten’s football uniform rankings entering the 2025 season
  10. You know who really has a gripe is the female lion. she does all the work, hunts, takes care of the kids, while dad the "King of Beasts" gets all the attention.
  11. I too believe the worst part of this is Evan Stewart himself, good luck to him. As for the team, "Oregon has done well with the "next Man, or men, up" Remember when Blount was suspended, and it was up to Freshman, LaMichael James?
  12. I've never liked FSU, so I'm openly rooting for the Rodents to take them out and go to Omaha. If nothing else, it would be fun to have a sweep of the Natty winner. if not, how about Coastal Carolina? the B1G would pick up a bit in baseball if UCLA wins the 'ship, and OBD took 2 of 3 from them.
  13. Patience. Recruiting, don't we all miss the good old days? Now with NIL & the portal, the commitments mean less than ever. 2 sides jump out, USC-Riley, throw $$$$ at the recruits, get the No.1 class, or Oregon-Lanning, take your time, talk to the recruits, if they want to be Ducks, sign 'em up, the portal will be there. (Maybe with some of USC's commits). Slightly different, and I can't know, but I don't think Emmanuel Pregnon is thinking he wishes he was still at USC.
  14. Ignorance is bliss!
  15. I guess he got his wiiings.
  16. Or Daily Double, "This Player of Romanian heritage holds the NCAA record for career triple doubles. men's and women's that will never be broken" Sabrina Ionescu
  17. Help us, Obi-Jon!
  18. Don't let fact and reality get in the way of the SEC blather. I didn't see this, but Alabama could have exclaimed that "Yeah, Vandy & Okie beat us...but they're in the SEC, and that's why we should only play a 8 game schedule!"
  19. And Yoda:
  20. This is very true! Trying to keep up with all this is numbing. Very glad that OBD is a Have and I've never wanted a season to start more than 2025.
  21. Jon, I wish this would come to fruition before the 30's, The NFL is a machine, a tank actually, just rolling over everything in its path. Ever since NIL and the transfer portal, college football as we remember it, has disappeared. NFL-lite will bring order and parity, schedules will be consistent. Playoffs will be seeded according to performance during the season, not by a committee. Sounds good to me.
  22. While people voiced their hatred of the tournament’s pool-play format, citing that it created “meaningless” games, I don’t think I watched a single contest that didn’t matter for NCAA tournament seeding Not really. If OBD had won the B1G they would not have been in the top 8.
  23. Ruth: A bummer ending to an unforgettable year and experience - Daily Emerald DAILYEMERALD.COM Oregon head coach Mark Wasikowski ended his press conference after being eliminated from the Eugene Regional the same way...
