I hope we here at OBD never become like tOSU fans. He has won more games each season than most coaches ever. Except the big ones. I'm not sure how I would feel if DL won 10 games every year but lost to UW all the time. But, we aren't them. And Dan Lanning knows how to win big games. Boy are we fortunate.

He will be missed if he gets it. A great recruiter.

Beating tOSU again! Then Texas. Then Georgia in the Natty. If we make this run, it will be the best team in college football history. Wis., Mich, Mich St, Penn St, tOSU, Texas and Georgia...all in the same year!! That would be amazing. Here's hoping! (And believing)

I hope Dante's future is with Oregon. I want to see Dan & Will develop in-house talent. We will have 2-5☆ and 3-4☆ and a talented 3☆ on scholarship next year if no one transfers. That's a loaded QB room. I think both Dante and Austin* are ready and competent to play. Both need in-game experience to develop. Akili Jr and the Hawaii kid are both studs also. *Austin looked really good in Spring game. The Best qb in my opinion. It's time we develop our own recruits or lose interest from potential recruits. Dante came here with the promise of development. Dan is a man of his word. This year we had talented seniors and needed an experienced qb to help a Natty run. DG was a good fit. I don't see next year having the same urgency. Besides, with limited schollies available, we have greater needs for portal players. TE, D-line and a #1 WR for starters.

Awesome. He certainly deserves it. He has been calm cool and efficient at all the most important times in every game. He is our team leader. And we are 13 - 0. His best games were our biggest, tOSU, Mich and PSU. He led several 4th qtr winning drives. Made clutch throws to maintain drives. Delivered when the game was on the line, every time. He gets my (unbiased) vote!

After beating Penn St, we will have to beat tOSU, then probably beat Georgia, all before facing someone in the Natty. That's like winning 3 national championship before actually winning the Championship! Oh well. One at a time. Bring em on! We can do it. And I hope we get UGA. We got a score to settle with those Dawgs!

It's comforting to know I wasn't the only one yelling at the TV to shut up! Some things never change, good announcers are hard to come by. They all think what they say is more important than the game. Not hardly.

If DG keeps it and a LB moves to pick him up, a quick throw to Tez can be had. Carter is quick and is moved around alot. The guards and center need to be ready. I see those quick sideline passes neutralizing some rush and keeping them from loading the box. Thanks Charles. I'm expecting to see many "new" additions to the play calling in each of our remaining games. On both sides of the ball. Can't wait for more of your breakdowns.

How about 'the uncivil war'.

We don't get talked about much cuz we are the new kids doing what no one else has done...beat the bluebloods. And in year 1!!!! They are all so jealous. I don't blame them. We have the best coach. The best facilities. One of the best boosters in all of CFB in uncle Phil. A very supportive fan base, top NIL collective. The best support staff in all areas. And the best track & field facility in all the USA. Add to that top 5 recruiting classes, Oregon is now so successful that top teams are worried about being stepped over (and on!) Just keep winning coach. FEBU.

Whether Dillon wins the Heisman or is even invited to NY, he is the biggest reason we are 12 - 0. His leadership and ability to remain calm and come up so big on big downs has been key. I was slow to warm up to DG, but he has won me over big time. I'm glad he came to Oregon. I'm hoping and 🙏 he has his best game tomorrow. Let's go defense. Get some 'Nitt'pick 6's.

Once you get past the title, he does make several good points. And, Oregon has already "won" the B1G. A good read.

With the QB flip from Cal, we will have 2- 5☆ and at least 3- 4☆ on scholly at the QB position and at least 1 fast rising 3☆. I know Lanning is always looking for better players, but I really can't believe they take a qb from the portal. Not this year. Footnote: I expect Moga or Novosad to transfer.

Basically what we wore against tOSU, just a different helmet. Looks tough. Now go play tough. Crush the kittycats!

I wasn't worried about this game until I saw these uniforms. OMG! These are truly awful and pathetic. I'm taking UW and the points! Oey vey!🤦‍♂️

Uh, champions of what, exactly? They're not even bowl eligible! Sad. Very sad indeed.

It's clear "head-to-head" match ups don't count for much. How can any team be ranked higher then the team that beat them?! Clearly the standards the committee uses are not clear at all. Btw, Idaho is ranked 8th in the FCS and in their playoffs. BSU also ranked. So maybe our adjusting to a new O-line with a new qb wasn't so awful in our 1st two games.

Arrogance is so off-putting. Unless you back it up with winning. There is no doubt TH is a great athelete. Playing as many snaps as he does is truly impressive. But the Heisman is also about character. He and his whole team fail there. Ashton Jeanty will get marked down cuz he plays in the MWC. But 2 things worth noting: 1- he played well against #1 Oregon 2- every team designs their defense on stopping him. Yet he still puts up great numbers consistently, weekly. And, his team is winning. My vote is for him. I think our Dillon is 2nd. He has been very good for us. Would we be #1 without him?

This is the 2nd time media were closed out. I believe the first time was before the Michigan game. I hope it gets the same result! Also a good way to help block out all other outside noise and help maintain focus. Good on ya, coach Lanning.
