It seems the safe answer to questions about leaving a program is, "I love it here." Followup questions to be answered with questions. "Why would I leave?" "Do you know something I don't know?" Etc. Just saying something, without really saying anything.

Is the Tush Push legal in college football these days?

I saw that last episode too and also got a little verklempt. I've also been wondering if the PAC-12 would some day, say 10 years or so from now, reconstruct itself. I know it's anywhere from extremely unlikely to impossible, but, still, I can't help wondering.

I thought the Gators might pull the upset yesterday--but the expanded playoffs next year should make it more exciting for everybody. Enjoy the too-long off season, and we'll look for you here again!

Which Did You Like Better in the Oregon-Oregon State game?
Annie posted a topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Oregon using up 8 minutes and 41 seconds to score their first touchdown, or Oregon scoring a touchdown with only 54 seconds left in the first half? I can't decide! -
Just in: Smith leaving OSU for Michigan State!
Annie replied to anyotherduck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Interesting. Smith is leaving one "little brother" school for another. It will be intriguing to see if he can pull MSU up more to Michigan's level. -
Juicy Quotes from the ESPN Crew Towards Oregon...Whew!
Annie replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Just win, Ducks! Win! -
I believe it was the players who wanted the name of the game changed. But on Game Day more than once they (the Game Day people) referred to it as the CW.

All this, plus Oregon was already a good team when Chip was hired. He did not have to rebuild.

Canzano on Lanning to TAMU: 'Have You Met the Guy?'
Annie replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
It's nice to know there are some people in this world who think a $7,000,000 income is good. That's not to say that DL would never accept/ask for more money, but he says that's not his top priority, his family is, and I believe him. -
Oregon Special Teams -- What's Up With Camden Lewis?
Annie replied to SilverDuck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
At the Auburn-Oregon championship game, I seem to remember Chip deciding to go for a TD 3 or 4 times on short-and-goal rather than try a field goal. Was that Chip just being BB Chip or was he concerned that the kicker wouldn't succeed on the short attempts? -
Lots of rumors out there--and we know how reliable rumors can be. Next Texas A&M coach odds: Jeff Traylor, Mike Elko, Kalen DeBoer favored; Deion Sanders, Urban Meyer longshots to replace fired Jimbo Fisher - SportsLine.com WWW.SPORTSLINE.COM So as it turns out, both head coaches were fired in the wake of Texas A&M's 51-10 home blowout win against Mississippi State...

Oregon Special Teams -- What's Up With Camden Lewis?
Annie replied to SilverDuck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I hope Camden can get his act together real soon. Meanwhile, this guy sounds promising for the future. West Linn kicker Gage Hurych ready for next level with Oregon Ducks WWW.KOIN.COM There are a lot of new starters on this year’s squad for the Lions, but something that hasn’t changed is the person putting the ball... hope -

Well, actually, he has three jobs: kickoffs, PATs, and field goals. But, yeah. -

College Football Playoffs, More Changes than Just Expansion
Annie replied to Steven A's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
At one time wasn't the plan to have only 11 regular season games, then conference championships could be Thanksgiving weekend, and playoffs could start the next week? Or did I dream this.? -
