  1. Word has it he wanted hooded sweatshirts and Phil said no.
  2. Love him or hate him he was a thorn in Oregons side far too many times.
  3. Wikipedia Dillingham was hired to be the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach at Auburn in 2019, replacing. Chip Lindsey.[5][6] During his time at Auburn he helped Bo Nix become the SEC Rookie of the Year. While also being the most improved offense in the SEC. His final game vs Alabama the offense put up 48 points. Which is the most points scored on a Nick Saban defense. He spent one season with the Tigers, where they recorded a 9-3 record. Auburn also had its highest recruiting ranking in the 247 recruiting ranking era during Dillingham’s year as OC. That was the same year the Ducks lost to AU 27-21 He might be just fine with the offensive talent Oregon has.
  4. LOL duh. Too much coaching carousel. I'll still stick with my 1-2 loss comparison though.
  5. I think Riley has to get the nod here. More HC experience and a loaded base for recruiting. I feel that Riley and Lanning will trade wins in the next 5 years. Dickert is at WSU which even with Leech just never quite made it to the top so due to proximity I don't think he'll recruit as well and that will have WSU getting 1-2 more L's a year than UO/USC. With that being said the P12 just got better with those 3 new HC hires as well as Smith at OSU and Willingham at UT the P12 should be a force to reckon with in the next 2 years.
  6. The UO/GA game next year just got even more interesting.
  7. What would it take for Lanning to come to Oregon besides being the DC on a #3 team that's in the final four? Money is about it.
  8. Just like the rest of us Canzano is speculating.
  9. How much of the possible Lanning hire is being downplayed because GA's in the final 4? I think he'd be a great hire especially with a big time OC. He may not hit a home run right out of the gate but he seems eager to learn and improve vs our last HC.
  10. As long as he learns from his mistakes, unlike his predecessor he has the upside the Ducks need to get a CFP win.
  11. No one could foresee dream school job openings when hiring the last to HC's. IMO it was bad luck on Oregons part. How do you protect against that? Where's Chip want to go next? NFL was a bust. Does he think he can regain some of the magic if he comes back or is it the money? He's doesn't need more money. Maybe he felt he left with unfinished business. I think thats a good reason for him personally to come back. But who's knows
  12. With that news then It's Chip vs ? Thats not a good sign. Chip wouldn't be a disaster (8-4, 9-3) but there's better out there. Why settle for bottom round when you can have Filet Mignon?
  13. According to sources the sources reporting are not reliable sources.
  14. You had me until I read Jon Gruden. Gruden should've stayed in the announcers booth.
  15. Per the article. The Ducks are expected to look at a few different candidates. One of those could be on the NFL level. Doesn't sound like anything more than a click bait article.
  16. Hire Chip and start poaching assistants from your toughest opponants.
  17. Imagine what he could do with TY, Ashford or Butterfield.
