  1. Oregon Football: Multiple Ducks named Gatorade Player of the Year DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM The Gatorade Players of the Year were announced for all 50 states on Friday, and the Ducks were well represented.
  2. Not the easiest, but not the hardest schedule. Monday January 16th is the final day for college football players to declare for the draft. Cam Rising is projected to be at best a 6th round pick. I'm not sure if this 2nd injury this season is enough to have him call it quits, but there is little reason for him to declare for the NFL. vs. Portland St. @ Texas Tech vs Hawaii @ ASU @ UW @ Stanford @ Utah vs Cal vs Colorado vs WSU vs USC vs OSU
  3. I'm a Duck football season ticket holder. I went to the 2001 Fiest Bowl vs Colorado and the 2014 CFP title game vs tOSU. Both bowl games were great experiences for me. Jerry's world said the same thing about no tailgating, but everybody was out drinking in the parking lot. What they did do to discourage it was reduce the number of port-a potties in the parking lot. Being a season ticket holder, I paid face value for the bowl tickets. The ticket prices were still steep, but not over $500. That was before the fad of opt-outs, but being at the game is being at the game. If you like the live game experience, I don't think opt outs is going to change it.
  4. Oregon Football: The 50 best photos of the Ducks’ 2022 season DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM The Ducks had a great 2022 season. Let’s take a look back at some of the best photos from the year as a whole.
  5. Harbaugh had been a coach where 4 years was enough. San Diego 3 years, Stanford 4 years, 49ers 4 years. It is only Michigan where he passed 4 years. I have a feeling he has an inch to move on. If I'm any Michigan player or recruit, I shouldn't expect him to be my coach my senior year.
  6. Oregon Recruiting: Ducks targeting Kentucky DL Justin Rogers in portal DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Rogers, a former 4-star recruit, has 61 tackles and 3 sacks in 26 career games at Kentucky.
  7. Bowen was a "Duck" for less than 24 hours, not sure why a lot of people are frustrated with his decision. He is a high school kid making the biggest decision of his life to date. Is it really all that surprising high school kids change their minds?
  8. It isn't my money, but I hope the Ducks never get in a bidding war for High School kids. Players of course deserve to make their money, but I think it is silly to be giving huge money to HS kids. Just like the NFL has rookie caps, because they are unproven at the next level. When you produce, then you get paid.
  9. I love a top 10 recruiting class. Now we need to coach up the kids and see the development on the field.

  16. Tuioti I guess technically is a hometown kid, but he has only lived in Eugene for less than a year. He moved with his dad, when his dad became Oregon's DC.
  17. It will be interesting to see what happens at UCLA and the QB competition. Kent State QB Collin Schlee isn't transferring to sit on the bench. UCLA also have 3 QBs that could come back next season.
  18. It is based on their high-school star ratings. I think we hit it out of the park with our transfers, but wasn't Bo the only former 5 star?
  19. Oregon Recruiting: 8 potential flip candidates for the Ducks DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Who are the guys that Oregon is trying to flip, and what is the likelihood that they pull it off? We break it down here.
  20. Oregon Football: UTEP OT Jeremiah Byers to take visit to Ducks DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM According to a report from 247Sports, the Ducks will host UTEP OT Jeremiah Byers on a visit this weekend.

  22. I'm all for Pac-12 schools who earn post season bids to receive more money, than those not receiving bids. However, I'm not sure half of payout would be feasible. Oregon is 100% a flag bearer for the Pac-12, but being too aggressive in forcing payment, may also leave them on the outside. Oregon can't go independent and the Big 12 isn't going to give them special treatment if Oregon leaves the Pac 12. It is a fine line they will have to walk.
  23. I definitely wouldn't have issues with all Pac-12 teams to never schedule games with USC/UCLA again. Bitter and petty, yep!
  24. Oregon Recruiting: Expected visitors for Ducks before dead period DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM There are some big names on Oregon’s visitor list this weekend, and some buzz about massive late additions as well.
