BUT…no matter what our guys are wearing, a) we will look better than the UW, and b) uniform colors don’t negate talent and desire. From a marketing standpoint, this is the perfect game to feature the uniqueness of Oregon uniforms compared to everyone else. Got some super hero stuff going on.That combo of wings (Brings to mind Apollos-whose role as the slayer of Python led to association with battle and victory) and the platinum (Brings to mind the Silver Surfer-who has the ability to project energy in various forms for offensive and defensive use) is a great look. Whatever makes him feel good helps him play good I'm all for this weekend. It looks like the black speckles are more bold on the uniforms this year, which I think helps keep me from thinking my eyes are playing tricks on me that I am just imagining the speckles at a distance. Win every game. I have 4 husky customer/friends who have been smack talking for almost a year. I liked them so much more during the 16 losses out of 17 games stretch The best husky is a quiet husky, knowing who the alpha is..... Go Ducks. Sidenote: This forum just might be the only place in the world I can come and talk about our beloved Ducks uniforms without having to hear the dreaded jokes about uni combos and national championships.
