So...How Does This Win Make You Feel?

Recommended Posts

--Are you feeling better about the offense?

--Have you heard ENOUGH TIMES during the telecast how we lost to Washington three previous times?  They HAD to be doing that for the larger Seattle audience...

--To me, after watching other B1G teams today...our passing game is SO MUCH better, and we have a ton of upside to reveal in the next four games, IMHO.

I'm so grateful for this resounding win and to see our offense join our defense, and just light it up.

There is a YouTuber by the handle of legalized_quack he goes around and clips sport personality video’s that bad mouth OBD making a vid of his own as fuel for the fanbase and our ducks. I have always thought about making my own channel called wth “What The Flag” that just covers all the bad calls by the refs, and putting a face on the poor calls.

I took the 3 3 point losses added them to the Huskies score including scoring on our second team with their starters, and find that we have thoroughly annihilated the Huskies over the total of the past 3 years.

The offense was visibly better, particularly the passing game. It's not perfect but definitely not like the previous 3 games. Having Tez back obviously made a difference. Marcus Harper returning will further stabilize things before going into the playoff.

Looking at the Moore led 2-3's vs the befuskled starters, Methinks OBD could have put up another TD, had they chosen not to chew clock.

I don’t know about the offense, but the defensive stats were something to be happy about.

😁😆🤣😍🤪🤑🤗 and THEN SOME!

Now, I must figure out how to break out of the state pen to watch Penn State get Ducked.😁

Ryan, I hope you are having a really nice Day. 😁

Thanks for the memories Chip. Your play calling brought me back to $CAM and His Knee Was Down! How many times do you run straight ahead into a D line that's better than your O line? Oh well, he did take a pay cut.

RPO? Option plays with a QB who can run? No comprende Chipper.

Giving OBD's D a warning, look out for TE Tyler Warren. 🤩 He's a Bad Man.

Am I wrong (the answer is usually 'YES') to be happier about playing the Franklins instead of the Days?  And having a chance to rematch in Atlanta and not Indy?

UWho Waxed and Wasted. Neuter the Nittany Lions!

I hated them in Kindergarten but as a Gray Beard, I truly value a NAP.

No college team will play 8 in a row with yo-yo-like trips back East vs. B1G competition and not be worn down. Going 8-0 is remarkable and a rested Ducks team was ready to take names and kick Husky butt.

Tez was not that big a factor, IMHO.  I think being worn, versus being fresh was a key.

Tez wasn't a big factor, still cracked 40, Stewart dropped one for sure that would have gone a long way. James is a beast. The offense looked like it was running about 73 on a scale of a 100. So very optimistic moving forward.

I would have loved a pick-6, but 10 sacks will do!

I think the MVP of the game was the bye week. Thanks to it, the entire team looked better.

They don't like us at all.

I wish that irrelevant fan base nothing but misery, misfortune, and disappointment to no end.

Agreed. Everything else aside, that fan base is so toxic. A bunch of pathetic children. I guess we can’t be totally objective, but I have had enough personal experiences to say they are terrible. Rooting against them all the way.

Great win! Nice to end that losing streak.

Took care of business and looked the part against a middling team.

Isn't anybody going to talk about the most dominant defensive line performance in Ducks history?

It was a record 10 sacks, and I numerous tackles for a loss.

Having Tez back was nice!

His impact may not have been huge quantitatively, but qualitatively? Sure!

I think it makes a difference having all the players in their usual roles, and UW’s defense having to honor TJ’s presence; opens the offense up more.

Lots of boxes checked.  Feel very good about Moore’s passing. That and a frosh RB, Riggs, bods well for those two positions.

It looked like the plan was to benefit from Tez's presence on the field AND to allow him to get some of the rust off from his extended absence. I loved seeing him go to the ground safely several times, and minimize the end zone gang celebrations after his touchdown catch. Mission accomplished. He looks ready for the playoff stretch!

I feel like I was too harsh about the uni's. They looked better on TV than on my computer screen.

And the Duck D looked Dee-Structive in them! They took the pups to the pound, now it's time to pound PSU!

10 sacks against a very mobile QB.  D was beastly.   Glad the O got rolling again, and agree still not an A game for them.  Plenty of growth available.   Honestly, relatively vanilla play calling since Ducks ran down their throats. Hardly any long shot needed or used. Yes Holden had one for 39 but was mostly run after catch.  TFerg for 21 but was on a Free play due to offsides.   Rolling up 49 with foot on the brakes was pretty cool.  Besting Huskies again, always cool.

Upets helped in part by Mari-o-ho-ho making another lame late-game decision, this time in Syracuse, NY.

ESPN+ David Hale - "7672 days since Miami won a conference championship. It's tough to say how many days it's been since Mario Cristobal properly handled a late-game decision since you can't divide by zero." 🤣 OUCH!

Mari had the O this season but MC's D went MIA.

Thank you Canes Boosters for the gift that keeps on giving. 😊

I was really excited/relieved to see the offense clicking again after the much needed bye.

Tez will be a huge asset in the B1G Championship Game and playoffs so it was good to see him out there contributing and having a good time.  The offensive line did a terrific job blocking and our running backs ran with authority.

I was really impressed with the defensive coaching/playcalling against the mutts. Loved the delayed and run blitzes. The players played with discipline and everyone did their assignment. Our defensive line is amazing (10 SACKS in ONE GAME…ARE YOU KIDDING ME?)!!!’ If they stay healthy, they are unblockable. Like the announcers said - who are you going to double team, leaving 2-3 other athletic freaks with 1:1 blocking?).

The future is bright and hopefully this is a sign that Oregon is peaking heading into the playoffs, with our spot clinched against the mutts.

One thing I miss about the Pac-12 Network (wash my mouth with soap) is Nick Alliotti's commentary on the Ducks defense.  Would have loved to hear his impressions the season.

The Danimal has officially excorcised the demons previously ensorcelled by Stubler, Hoke, and Pellum.

Great win and I hate washington fans. In their defense have you ever been there!!

Pretty much rains all the time or is extremely dreary fog is second to none. That alone is bad for your brain function.

Have you ever tried to drive thru that town in rush hour traffic? Could cause brain damage.

I was once in a traffic jam that went from just north of Olympia all the way to Seattle. One of the worst days of my life. People were standing beside their cars.

They have, wait, no nba team.

They have the Chicken Hawks.

They wine like a starving puppy.

And best of all they just got the crud beat out of them by a Duck.

poor little puppy fans.😢😢😢

Who blew their chance at back to back Super Bowl wins with the worst play call in NFL history, and the Mariners had a chance at legitimately being called the best team in baseball history; 116-46 regular season record, and they CHOKE! Don't even make it to the World Series.

I only got to see most of the 1st half because of having to go to work, and I don't remember seeing him get a target.

This is what I was expecting most of all in the first half. He was probably VERY effective in being a decoy. With Tez on the field, the defense had to put one of their best guys on him... naturally opening up more space for Stewart, Holden and Ferguson. It worked well. Tez is a monster whether or not he is targeted.

I'd like to say "warm and fuzzy", but before I don my freshly procured fuskie pelt jacket (there was a fire sale, and i procured a supply for the entire family), is there any special treatment I should apply in order to ensure the safety of said garments... No need to enable the transmission of fleas, ticks, lice, and other infestatious vermin to our loved ones.

If nothing else, the garments will fuel a delightful celebratory bonfire for OBD.

Does that require a DEQ permit?

Solid game.

Towards the end of the game, video feed on the Jumbotron rotated showing a baby being held high dressed as a Duck, and various forms of purple pups ( fans, band, team, and coaches) The crowd would cheer, and then boo anything purple.

That went on for a few minutes.

All Oregon fans were having fun last night watching Oregon leave no doubt.
