Being a Duck homer myself, I can appreciate these podcasts. Even those void of facts.

Without a doubt either team can win this game. However, OBD's will be TT's greatest test all season. The Ducks are a 2 deep, balanced squad, not littered, but filled with future NFL players.

TT will be the 3rd best squad OBD's faces in the 2025/2026 season. I place IU and PSU games more difficult. I don't care or know what happened to PSU after the Ducks tore their heart and soul from them. That was a top 5 team at home in a whiteout and OBD's left with a W.

The Red Raiders, during the regular season, played teams with a combined losing schedule of 70-74. With 5 teams going to bowl games. And TT lost to one of them, ASU.

OBD's played teams with a combined 78-66 record. 6 teams will make bowl games. On top of that MSU the FCS Finals and IU in the CFP. That's 8!

Schedules and those opponents matter. TT's had an easier schedule to pad their team stats. JMU was no barometer for the Ducks season. TT only the #1's and 1a's will see the field. Barring injury, of course.

Benson and McClellen would be #1's on the TT squad and they started as 3's and 4's on the Duck depth chart.

This game is a toss up! The team who plays clean, mistake free football will have a leg up. Either team can overcome mistakes but only one team has the #1 pick in the 2026 NFL draft.......

Dante is not the same QB that everyone saw against IU. He will be the difference maker in this game. TT, if you don't get to Dante you most likely lose this game.

OBD's did not have multiple TE schemes when they played IU. Your linebackers can't cover the Duck TE's and pressure Dante at the same time. Good luck!

The flaw in his assessment is that he thinks Oregon is going to treat Tech’s defense the same as they treated JMU’s. He also thinks the comeback by JMU was something other than Oregon losing focus. That won’t happen against a team as good as Tech.

In the same vein, Duck fans would be wrong to think BYU’s bowl game is any indication of their talent. Thus, thinking Tech beat up on a bad team in the Big 12 championship. BYU is good and they only needed a quarter to get their act together and carve out a win.

Both teams are playing well out of their conference footprint on a grass field. It’s an evenly matched game and could come down to special teams.

Games are won on the field, not on the internet or YouTube. Loud Mouths are everywhere.

We’ve seen Coach Lanning use videos of pundits “disrespecting” Oregon in Ducks vs. Them videos as motivation. However, I’m not sure these unknown tools would be worth it.

All it took was reading this snippet of the video description for me to close the window less than 10 seconds in:

Allegedly, he thinks TT is better then Indiana. I get that you should support your team, but dang, bud. I was waiting on the part where he reveals he is joking, but....Might be an interesting saturday for him.

Maybe YouTube's algorithm thinks I'm a TT fan, but it seems like most lower grade pundits are picking TT. Lots of living in a bubble TTU fans with poor logic commenting too thinking they are going to beat up on us.

I think the spread is over 3 by game time for a reason though. It is supposed to be close, but the deeper you dig, the more you see Oregon has the edge.

Still, it's so close that whoever can play hardest for 4 quarters with the fewest mistakes will win. Since Oregon played more recently, that edge should be to Oregon.

These Locked On bozos subsist on clicks and homeboy subscribers, so the hyperbole about your own team/conference is the business model.

And getting rich they aren't. The Locked On Ducks guy Spencer McLaughlin is better than most, and he has a side gig broadcasting Southern Utah games to help float his boat. Most of them scramble to get a game press pass that the On3 and 24/7 people get automatically.

Broadcasting from mom and dad's basement pretty much sums it up for Toll the Troll. One of the Autzen Zoo writers (prone to the same level of sensationalism occasionally) reposted this guy's take and was pretty dismissive of it.

For all of his Texas Tech honking and pubescent enthusiasm, he predicted BYU to upset TT in the B12 CG. So much for prognosticating prowess. As noted in some of the comments here, this stuff wont even rise to bulletin board material for DL and OBD.

You just get the feeling like he's not even buying his own BS. I hope Oregon makes it competitive at least. I hope they win actually, but if they don't win, I hope they make it competitive just to shut these fools up.
