I will keep an eye on these GameDay threads to start new ones sooner with the malfunction going on...

We all knew our Ducks would have to play a pretty much error-free game to win tonight.

But the thought of just being flat out embarrassed and humiliated did not cross my mind.

Until now. Simply put, this is a disgrace.

No.

Well folks, I love my Ducks. But I don't see anything yet that says we can come back from this. Indiana is a rare team.

3 turnovers by Dante. Game over before halftime. Indiana might as well treat us like we treated JMU after half.

Cig won't... but he could

It's not a disgrace. Indiana is just too good for any team in college football this season.

No.

This is embarrassing.

I don’t know if it’s good or bad news that Dante Moore will be back next year…

At this point I guess I'll look forward to seeing Miami be the next victim.

No.

Ducks offensive line is the problem - not Dante.

No.

I said I wouldn't mind losing, but this is no fun to watch. I fear the team has already given up.

I'm glad I'm not stuck in the stands with a several thousand dollar travel bill waiting for me when I get home.

No.

I never thought I'd say this.. Im done and first half is not over.

Don't know what to say other than there is NO question who has the best qb!\

And, The better defense..

Very very embossing performance.

Now I am speechless.

Already looking forward to next season!!

The second TO was Hills fault, he ran into Dantes arm while he was throwing.

No.

I dont blame the players I blame the system

As someone else mentioned, I would be tempted to get one of the young QBs in the game to see what they can do.

No.

Im tired of the embarrassment every year..

No.

I thought we would be competitive. It's gonna take a ridiculous 2nd half to come back and I don't see it as possible.

No.

Luke Moga...whatcha got? Kidding. Kinda of.

No.

Embarrassing. Apparently, we brought the JV team.

Well folks, This has been a fun year. I'm gonna go do something else. If I miss the greatest comeback in history, I guess I do.

Bring on the spring game.

No.

On the bright side, we won't have let Miami beat us!!

No.

Well... I suppose somebody has to be embarrassed & humiliated on national TV in the semifinals two straight years in a row.

It hasn't helped that Oregon has shot itself in both feet and right between the eyes. Perfect storm of disasters. Game isn't over but OBD must now play for pride and to not give up.

For those who haven't given up on him, Dante will likely be back and that is a good thing.

Good judgement comes from experience and experience comes from bad judgement.

No.

They've been targeting 21's receiver a lot. That seems like something the defense will discover and adjust for.

No.

Coaching needs to improve massively.

No.

This is definitely a team effort, no blocking, holding the ball to long and outside of one drive a complete lack of effort.

To be fair, it was the quarterfinals last year. We're moving up!

No.

Unforced errors folks until that deep route TD.

Moore needs to navigate the pocket better. Much better Time to throw deep with good check downs.

OL needs to stay put. The stunts won't work if they don't run with the guy in front of them. Need to chip the ends. That kills the rush.

Not having Whit and Davison is killing us. Hill completely showed why he doesn't get reos. Harris looks fine.

I'm not pleased Stein didn't start chipping the DEs after the second series. We knew that would be necessary. Also, moore did throw the TE open, then missed the timing on the second opportunity.

QB coach and OC not drilling Moore properly in practice. They've seen a season of havoc and haven't adjusted to it. It's not only necessary, it builds more skills for the NFL. Some players need to be forced to improve their weaknesses, and Moore is too talented to waste his skills

I'd never get a media pass for saying this, but Moore will be a waste if he isn't drilled massively on these deficiencies. They can be solved.

I mean it when I say this: these skills can be acquired. Same with our farm boys and the secondary ( should be switching on the cross route conflict pattern instead of staying in man coverage.

We will not see these kinds of questions from the media. Id probably dillo so privately instead as a journalist because, well I can't say. But I know these things.

No.

A singing fat lady put a curse on Dan Lanning: you shall be blown out whenever you play in the state of Georgia...

No.

Normally, in score deficits like this, I would say stay with your first team QB.

But, Moore's performance, and the fact there isn't much scouting Indiana could have done on anyone but Moore, suggests try someone else.

Indiana has had a great D-plan both in October and this game. Give them something else to look at.

No.

The ESPN skycast has no commentators, so game can be watched without the drooling. Assuming anyone wants to keep watching this deja vu nightmare

No.

Well....we chocked again in a big game, kind of beginning to be a theme for Lanning in these situations, beaten twice by UW, embarrassed by tOSU last year, embarrassed by Indiana this year.

We deserve all the ridicule for not having a championship, we always fall short, we always aren't ready for the big game.

No confidence in Mehringer next year since Moore is the same guy he was at the start of the year. It's his job to get him ready and he's failed miserably. Awful that they just gave him the job without seeing who they could get outside of the program.

No.

I think it is time for a tall gin and tonic.

This.

IM on my 5th beer and I think I need something stronger.

No.

I will say that I recall a bowl game where a team came back from 35 down....oh wait. That was TCU coming back against Oregon....never mind. 😂😂😂😂

No.

That timeout that Cignetti took in the first quarter to help his defense out was genius.

No.

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm looking forward to getting destroyed in the title game next year!

I would agree usually. This is skill building time. Moore needs pocket navigation skills. Stein needs to chip and release ( trust me, it's there).

Not saying I'm correct, because Moore is probably shell shocked again. He needs to take his lumps. And massive, massive, and I mean ten hours a day film study and discussion is warranted here.

Im not a pro, but if I put in the time, I can show you. And I just might since I'm off work the next 30 days ( to be released beforevspring practice).

We didn't have to embarrass ourselves tonight. The doctor needs to be fired. Not my boy Lanning. The way they self scout and diagnose themselves.

Again Moore should be a #1 pick with the correct skill set drilling. Same with some of the secondary coverage rules.

Loss for words... why

Hey I just want to point out to everyone here that it's not the end of the world and our team is really really really really good. It's just that Indiana is unbelievably good this year. They have beaten everyone. And they will smash Miami. Hold your heads high and be proud duck fans.

I see that you are an optimist. Quarterfinals last year, Semi-finals this year... I see where you're going with this.

No.

Hey Mike West, what does chip and release mean?

Some would argue that it also has a bit to do with us stepping all over our stuff, from the first play of the game, and so far, up until halftime.

No.

This game proves that money doesn't buy everything

No.

If only we had more five star athletes than Indiana.

It means the TEs give a good hard shove to the DE before heading out on their route. It makes the LBs think you are blocking for a run and slows down the DEs' rush for half a second.

I know Moore needs another season or maybe 2, but he lacks the killer instinct of a #1 QB... He is not even near Trinidad Chambliss in that aspect

Well, I would hope nobody would argue with me, because there's really nothing to argue with, unless you're not a Duck fan, I guess. However, I agree, they could have done a lot better in this game, but it doesn't take away from what they've accomplished, and the future is looking pretty bright.
