This is just a great picture from the locker room Saturday. How would you caption it?

Joy. Complete joy. Something I haven't felt with respect to a college football game since the Marcus Mariota days.

I don't know how I'd caption it but I'd recommend Dan Lanning save it for the games that don't go right - for the  times things look dark and for the times the press and fans are calling for his head; all three of which could certainly happen.  It's a lovely shot of a happy bunch of young men!

That's a quote he'll maybe need when things don't go so right.

Oh, I don't want to sound like a 'debbie-downer' 'cause these are heady times right now.  And it's all so wonderful when your team picks itself up off the turf and scores 29 points in the 4th qtr after stinking the place up for nearly 3 qtrs.  This celebration is deserved.

GO OREGON!

"the thrill of victory"

We know the rest of the moniker from the days of Wide World of Sports but I'll leave it out for now and let us savor this one

Heavens, that's Noah Sewell lifting DL towards the rafters. Like coach said, he doesn't pay attention to stats and they don't tell the whole story. My bet is that Kelly, Helfrich, Taggart or Cristobal ever had that experience. Something special appears to be happening here.

To dream the impossible dream

To fight the unbeatable foe

To try when your arms are too weary

To reach the unreachable star

This is our Quest…
