  8. Hello My OBD FishDuck Forum Friends! What is your prediction of Oregon versus Washington? Take your shot and let's have fun with it... Let's get these predictions started, and remember I look for the differential between your predicted points with both teams from the actual points. I will use the tiebreaker information when needed, so provide all the data below! Entries without ALL the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count. We Have Two New Rules: If two winning scores are tied, and tiebreakers tie? The first one who posted wins, automatically. TerryM9 gets 42-6 locked in every time as his. (I love this guy!) Please follow directions, as I need all that is below for tiebreakers: --the winner --the score --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team --the number of passing yards by the Ducks. My prediction is: Oregon 38-20 2 3 251
  9. FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 27, 2025 MEN’S BASKETBALL | @OregonMBB Ducks Winless in Las Vegas LAS VEGAS — Oregon clawed back from a 17-point deficit but couldn’t overcome Creighton’s early surge, falling 76–66 on Thursday morning at Michelob ULTRA Arena. Sean Stewart led Oregon (4-3) with a career-best 18 points on 8-for-12 shooting and added seven rebounds and a pair of blocks. Kwame Evans Jr. scored 12 points, grabbed eight boards and blocked four shots, anchoring a second-half charge in which the Ducks shot 52 percent from the floor. Dezdrick Lindsay also recorded a new career high with 14 points. Oregon cut the Creighton lead quickly in the second half, starting on a 12-4 run and eventually closing to within five points. The Bluejays responded with solid offensive possessions that drained the clock and built their lead back to double digits. The Ducks were out of gas at that point and never got the spark back. How it happened: The Ducks were outmatched in the first half as Creighton shot 47 percent from the field and turned Oregon’s missed shots into 17 fast-break points before halftime. The Bluejays also scored 22 points in the paint in the half. Oregon trailed 44–29 at the break and spent the rest of the morning trying to chip away. Lindsay scored eight of his 14 points in the second half, going a perfect 4 of 4 as Oregon used a 10–0 run early after the break to cut Creighton’s lead to single digits. The Ducks dominated the paint after halftime, outscoring the Bluejays 28–16 inside and generating seven second-chance points behind Stewart and Ege Demir, who pulled down a career-best nine rebounds. But each time Oregon threatened, Creighton found answers. Blake Harper scored 18 points and repeatedly broke loose in transition, while Owen Freeman added 14 points and 10 rebounds. The Bluejays (4–3) punished Oregon’s turnovers, scoring 24 fast-break points overall and converting 19 of 21 free throws. Oregon managed just 1 of 15 from three-point range and finished with 14 turnovers, several of them coming during key second half moments as the Ducks attempted to narrow the margin late. A Josh Dix corner three with 3:45 left pushed Creighton’s advantage back to eight, and Nik Graves’ step-back three with 1:49 remaining made it 74–62, sealing the outcome. Notable: Sean Stewart made his first start for the Ducks and set a new career high with 18 points. … Lindsay scored a new career best of 14 points. … Evans Jr. totaled 12 points, eight rebounds and four blocks. … Nate Bittle missed his first game of the season with an ankle injury. … Devon Pryor sustained a groin injury in the first half and did not return for the second half. … Oregon net just one three-point field goal for the first time since 2023. Up next: The Ducks are back in Eugene on Tuesday, December 2 as hosts to USC (7 p.m. PT, FS1).
  10. Report on the Womens in this post, and the Mens in the next post below... OREGON ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE | NOVEMBER 27, 2025 WOMEN’S BASKETBALL | @OregonWBB Ducks Feast on Thanksgiving FRISCO, Texas – On Thanksgiving Day, everybody wearing green and yellow was fed. Oregon’s bench put up 56 points Thursday, outscoring Old Dominion’s entire team in an 84-46 win on the final day of the Hoopfest Women’s Challenge at Comerica Center. The Ducks (8-0) played their third game in five days, and with one more leg of an extended road trip at Auburn on Sunday, head coach Kelly Graves was able to lean on his deep bench with only one starter playing over 20 minutes. “I think we played a heck of a lot better than we did the other day,” Graves said. “It was nice we rested a lot of our starters and divvied out the minutes. So we should be pretty fresh going to Auburn, which is what we wanted. Our schedule amps up now.” UO’s bench combined to go 20-of-28 (71 percent) from the field, getting a game-high 18 points from Astera Tuhina and a career-high 15 from Ehis Etute. Senior Amina Muhammad, who went up against her younger sister in ODU sophomore guard Nisaa Muhammad, added 10 points to round out three reserves to score in double figures. “It was great to see Astera play so well,” added Graves. “It was great to see Amina have a heck of a game and a really nice tournament in front of her family and friends, in front of her sister today. And then Ehis came in and did a great job." "It’s nice to have that comfort knowing that you’ve kids that can come in and make a difference.” Muhammad went a perfect 5-for-5 from the floor while grabbing six boards, dishing out three assist and tying her career high with three steals. The DeSoto, Texas, native combined to go 7-for-7 from the field over the two-game tournament. Sofia Bell was the lone Duck to see over 20 minutes of action, scoring all 11 of her points in the first half while drilling three 3-pointers to go with five rebounds, two steals and two blocks. How It Happened: After falling behind 4-0, Oregon went on an 8-1 run that included 3-pointers from both Mia Jacobs and Bell. The Ducks closed the quarter by scoring 10 of the last 12 points over the final four minutes to take a 20-11 lead after 10 minutes. Bell was a perfect 3-for-3 in the frame, knocking down a pair of triples on her way to eight first-quarter points. Tuhina came off the bench to score eight points in the second quarter, going 4-for-4 from the field in helping UO shoot 47 percent. Bell and Jacobs each connected from deep range to help the Ducks outscore ODU 21-14 in the second quarter, closing the half on 6-0 run to take a 41-25 lead into the locker room. Oregon’s defense stifled ODU in the third quarter, holding the Monarchs to 3-for-15 shooting while forcing eight turnovers. UO’s bench led the way offensively in the quarter, accounting for 16 of its 18 points with eight coming from Etute. An 11-1 burst broke the game open and gave the Ducks a 23-point lead at 54-31 and later led by 24 through 30 minutes. The Ducks cruised to the finish by outscoring Old Dominion 25-11 in the fourth quarter with Tuhina leading the way with nine of her 18 points, going 3-for-4 from the field in the frame. Muhammad added six points and hit all three of her field goal attempts, with the Ducks shooting 69 percent in the fourth and 56 percent in the second half. Notable: Oregon’s 8-0 start is its best since also starting 8-0 in the 2020-21 season, and the third 8-0 start under Graves … The UO defense forced 22 turnovers behind 10 steals, the seventh time this season forcing 20-plus turnovers and double-digit steals … Tuhina left the game late in the fourth quarter with an ankle injury. Up Next: The Ducks’ road trip continues Sunday at Auburn (SEC Network+, 12 p.m. PT).

  12. I truly believe that he covers Oregon superbly, and has given us quite a bit of it inside information that other sources have not at times. But I also believe that since his daughter went to Oregon State, he is very much an apologist for them. Well that, and he wants to retain all of the orange subscribers that he has… And that explains quite a bit of how he will appear to write something that almost appears to be anti-Oregon. He willingly feeds into their wacko conspiracies and delusions, and often attempts to reinforce them. But as you know, I have brought a lot of his stuff to the forum over the past year that has been entertaining or informative. So when I get his email, if it is about Oregon… I read it. If it is about Beavis, I delete it, but in the end, he gives more than enough value as an Oregon subscriber. And he admitted to me by email years back, that he will “stir the pot” and write things that will catch my and other fans ire.
  13. Love Canzano…….been a subscriber ever since he went solo a couple of years ago. Love his stuff, especially the human interest stories. To those who feel he leans toward the Beavers, maybe so. But that does that disqualify from being a good columnist?
  14. Green, yellow and white... My favorite Duck uniform color combos.
  15. I’m not sure how definitive that is. It’s one football “insider” that makes the claim and that’s it…
  16. I’m a little surprised that Cal isn’t looking for an offensive minded coach, given how bad they’ve been on that side of the ball under Wilcox.
  17. Good point. Tosh isn’t the best defensive coordinator, IMO, but he is a fantastic recruiter. Coach Lanning has quite a track record with sending d-lineman to the NFL going back to his Georgia days himself and it will be important to find a DL coach who is a great recruiter and developer. I have no doubt that he will be able to find good coaching talent. Hopefully this does not affect our current recruiting commitments.
  18. Looks like they capped off the trip by losing by double digits to a 0.500 Creighton team. Double Ouch.
  19. That Ritalin kept them going for two years. The Fuskies can also brag how DeBoer stayed twice as long as Slick Willy.
