Gotta disagree, MIc. I think the problems with Oregon's run game were due to the limitations of Nix and the injury to Forsyth. With Nix not being able to throw well off his bad leg, Ducks couldn't establish the short passing game, which let Utah load the box against the run. And of course, they didn't have to worry about Nix running himself. Plus, with Forsyth out, the shuffling of players on the O-line meant a less than crisp performance.

This has been a forever SEC thing. Other games yesterday? Missouri vs. New Mexico State Auburn vs. Western Kentucky Texas A&M vs. Massachusetts MIssissippi State vs. East Tennessee LSU vs. UAB SEC teams get to give the first team players a break, develop the younger players, and avoid injuries. If it's good for the SEC, it's good for America!

Indeed we were glad. I'm wrong a lot, and this was one of my favorite mistaken predictions.

Gotta agree with this...I'm certainly no prognosticator, but if I had to guess, I would go with the idea that we have seen the last of Bo Nix on the field as a Duck. Sigh.

So far, without Nix, the Ducks can't even get a first down, much less a win. There is absolutely nothing I have seen that would indicate that Oregon can win without Nix. If he can't go, I believe it will be really, really ugly and depressing.

Can I make two sets of predictions for the Utah game, Pro-Bo and No-Bo?

"...an easy play to blow up by the opposing defense." Exactly. Washington had no reason to respect the QB; they knew Thompson would not run, would not throw, would do nothing but hand off. So, it was easy.
