  1. Reser construction gives us these lousy camera angles.
  2. If you can access ESPN+, through the app or your cable provider, it is on there now.
  3. - Oregon - 35-27 - 2 turnovers - 1 sack - 307 yards passing
  4. Props for your screen name, DuckDiggler.
  5. When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years. - Anonymous, falsely attributed to Mark Twain.
  6. Announcers can say he's scattering D-linemen like a fox in the hen house.
  7. I don't know...I found the Utah game very satisfying. I think because it fit some great story lines: Willis Reed Bo Nix takes the field hurt and rallies the lads to a win, the team bounces back with a vengeance after the Washington debacle, the defense discovers some juice, both teams played hard (to quote Rasheed Wallace). I liked it.
  8. Too many "ifs" right now: if Nix is more mobile, if Forsyth is back, if last night's defense shows up again...it's going to be difficult for sure, but just how difficult may be a game-time decision.
  9. Great comment, FreddyD. Have always liked the Utes, Wittingham, and the way the team plays. There seems to be a great culture there. I always root for the Utes against anybody by Oregon.
  10. It's the new defensive plan: mind-bend and mind-break.
  11. This. I noticed that as well. Lanning was taking ownership of the defense. He was pretty fiery, wasn't he?
  12. Gotta disagree, MIc. I think the problems with Oregon's run game were due to the limitations of Nix and the injury to Forsyth. With Nix not being able to throw well off his bad leg, Ducks couldn't establish the short passing game, which let Utah load the box against the run. And of course, they didn't have to worry about Nix running himself. Plus, with Forsyth out, the shuffling of players on the O-line meant a less than crisp performance.
  13. This has been a forever SEC thing. Other games yesterday? Missouri vs. New Mexico State Auburn vs. Western Kentucky Texas A&M vs. Massachusetts MIssissippi State vs. East Tennessee LSU vs. UAB SEC teams get to give the first team players a break, develop the younger players, and avoid injuries. If it's good for the SEC, it's good for America!
  14. Indeed we were glad. I'm wrong a lot, and this was one of my favorite mistaken predictions.
  15. A Willis Reed moment! Bo Nix is my new hero.
  16. Some mystifying calls on offense.
  17. Can we run some clock now? I don't know.
  18. Nix can't throw off that bad leg. That caused the interception.
  19. Hey now...no personal attacks. Out of bounds.
  20. O-line injuries are not helping the running game.
  21. That Thompson fumble is going to be pivotal.
  22. Poor Ty Thompson. He's either cursed, or he is a curse. It's almost comical what happens when he comes into a game.
  23. Don't understand. How did that play show a lack of killer instinct?
  24. Ummm....what's up with that, coaches?
