  1. Mario has long left the building. Time to stop blaming him when things go wrong.
  2. I'm pretty sure they're all trying. Mistakes happen, and the Ducks are playing a top-25 team on the road.
  3. Where's that vaunted special teams coach?
  4. Let us now praise that overlooked player, Camden Lewis.
  5. Can we just review every single play and get it over with?
  6. Thank you, PAC 12 referees.
  7. That's the most inept 5 minutes of football I've seen all season from the Ducks. Well, except for the entire Georgia game.
  8. Whittington had penalties on two consecutive plays.
  9. Beavers look way more fired up.
  10. Oregon's strategy was to focus on stopping the run and force the Beavers to pass. After the first two series, why would the Beavers pass?
  11. Anyone able to tell if the Ducks are in cover 1 or cover 2? The camera angles make it hard to tell.
  12. Catch degree of difficulty: infinite.
  13. Reser construction gives us these lousy camera angles.
  14. If you can access ESPN+, through the app or your cable provider, it is on there now.
  15. - Oregon - 35-27 - 2 turnovers - 1 sack - 307 yards passing
  16. Props for your screen name, DuckDiggler.
  17. When I was a boy of 14, my father was so ignorant I could hardly stand to have the old man around. But when I got to be 21, I was astonished at how much the old man had learned in seven years. - Anonymous, falsely attributed to Mark Twain.
  18. Announcers can say he's scattering D-linemen like a fox in the hen house.
  19. I don't know...I found the Utah game very satisfying. I think because it fit some great story lines: Willis Reed Bo Nix takes the field hurt and rallies the lads to a win, the team bounces back with a vengeance after the Washington debacle, the defense discovers some juice, both teams played hard (to quote Rasheed Wallace). I liked it.
  20. Too many "ifs" right now: if Nix is more mobile, if Forsyth is back, if last night's defense shows up again...it's going to be difficult for sure, but just how difficult may be a game-time decision.
  21. Great comment, FreddyD. Have always liked the Utes, Wittingham, and the way the team plays. There seems to be a great culture there. I always root for the Utes against anybody by Oregon.
  22. It's the new defensive plan: mind-bend and mind-break.
  23. This. I noticed that as well. Lanning was taking ownership of the defense. He was pretty fiery, wasn't he?
