It's very likely that another team would have tossed Lanning under the bus and said that the game against Oregon will be a laugher with their hand me down coach.

I recognize the disadvantage the time zone puts Oregon at, but overall, I am thankful. I like the 5:00 start times for the Prime Time games, very thankful to not have to start watching at 8:00. On Sunday the NFL games start at 10:00 and 1:00. which I prefer much more over 1:00 and 4:00.

It has been proven that the winners of the championships have had stellar recruiting numbers. But Oregon didn't lose to Auburn because of their roster. If Dixon didn't go down, that team would have won it all. I'm all in for Oregon getting the top players, but it's just another stat.

It all begins with Georgia, and it's hard to make an objective case for Oregon winning that one, but the games last season against the Utes were a complete mess.
