  1. Maybe contact Kenny Farr, the Equipment Manager, and ask him? On Twitter: @KFARRGODUCKS
  2. It's not clear to me--was Altman recruiting Bronny?
  3. I like they way Lanning is bringing back former players and coaches. There was such continuity in the program through the 17 years Rich Brooks was HC, and then 14 years with Mike Bellotti. That's a lot of years of constancy and stability. I hope those aspects will be revived with Lanning's embracing of the past in addition to working toward the future.
  4. This! Aside from the lines that are needed to make it a basketball court, the beauty of the wood in a wood floor is enough! And it is my imagination (or TV), but does the entire floor have paint on it now? What used to show as wood looks as if it was painted a yellow-ish color recently.
  5. All I've ever heard of that OSU parody are those 6 words! Probably just as well that I've never heard the rest.
  6. Of course, I think the Ducks should have been #1, not #8! (In regard to ND, I can't hear their song without thinking of the alternate lyrics: We'll never falter, we'll never fail, we'll sober at Lane County Jail [substitute whatever local jail of opponent], while our loyal faculty lies drunk on the bar room floor! Rah, rah, rah!)
  7. I know things change, and it's nice to see the talent Oregon now gets, but I do fondly remember 3-star recruits, or even walk-ons, succeeding at Oregon. Wes Mallard, Jeb Weaver, to name a couple
  8. Players being "encouraged" to transfer out makes me sad. I think of the joy of the players, coaches, and fans when those players committed to the Ducks, and the excitement. I hope that those entering the portal because of pressure will find a good place to land and have success with their new teams. I'm hoping that as the current crop of coaches have the players they recruited in place, that pressure to transfer out will be reduced significantly or even eliminated.
  9. I'd love to see Ty realize his potential in games, but as PD mentioned, he seems to get stage fright or something when playing when it counts. Maybe by fall he will have matured enough to be able to step on that stage and perform brilliantly. We can only wait and hope.
  10. Former Duck, great man, and father of Josh and Justin Wilcox. Dave Wilcox, 49ers legend and Hall of Fame linebacker, dies at age 80 - CBSSports.com WWW.CBSSPORTS.COM Wilcox owned one of the great nicknames in sports history
  11. From what I've read, it's the same as in the past. Admission to the Spring Game is free. Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to donate to Food For Lane County.
  12. I also don't enjoy hearing the student section at football games saying, "And we're going to beat the "crap" (not quite what they say) out of you, and you, and you." It's not so terrible, I guess, compared to some things I hear being shouted, but I find it annoying and juvenile. Reminds me of when I and my friends were about 4 years old and thought that insulting someone by calling him/her a "pee-pee, wee-wee" was the height of hilarity, when, of course, it was just childish. (And if our parents heard us, we got scolded. )
  13. I've heard only the first line of that version of the OSU fight song, and that part is definitely funny. But I'll guess it goes "downhill" from there.
  14. So, now there's etiquette in taunting and trash talking? I am so behind on things. Hall of Famer Cheryl Miller says Caitlin Clark missed 'a moment' against Angel Reese WWW.USATODAY.COM A week has passed since LSU beat Iowa in women's NCAA basketball championship game, and Cheryl Miller chimes in on...
  15. Oregon lands a commitment from On3 top-100 safety Aaron Flowers Oregon picked up a win on the recruiting trail Friday afternoon. That win came in the form of a commitment from On300 DB Aaron Flowers, who pledged to the Ducks over USC and Oklahoma on Friday. Flowers, a top-100 recruit out of Forney (Texas) High School in North Texas, was getting recruited primarily by head coach Dan Lanning, who made the elite safety a top priority for the Ducks in this cycle. “If the head coach is really involved in the recruiting process and is really on you, then the school really wants you a lot and you’re a big priority for them,” Flowers told On3. 17. Williams sees value in both ION and the CW networks. Well, I get both ION and CW already, so, selfishly, I can say that at least I'd have no problem seeing the games.
  18. Thanks for helping with getting it to post with the pictures!
