  1. I don't see Portland or Hawaii games selling out, except possibly if the tickets prices for those games are extremely low.
  2. “Facts are stubborn things, but statistics are pliable.” Mark Twain
  3. Recruits who've decided on Oregon often site the feeling of family here. 🙂
  4. This early bird hates night games. I will manage to stay up for a Duck night game, but I don't watch any other team's night games.
  5. Interesting. My thought is that if you go with men's NBA line the edge would be to Steph. But if it's the WNBA line, no advantage for either. We need two contests for a Steph and Sabrina showdown. One at the WNBA line, and second from the NBA line.
  6. The last rumor I heard (and I've already forgotten where!) is that the PAC deal will include both linear and streaming. Maybe kind of like the way NBC already has many shows on both NBC and Peacock?
  7. Could be, but more googling yields: Moving women's 3-point line to the same distance as international competition and the college men's game starting in the 2021-22 season. If true, it's fairly recent.
  8. According to Google : The NBA 3-point line is 23.75 feet from the hoop, 22 feet in the corners. The FIBA 3-point line is 22.15 feet from the hoop, 21.65 feet in the corners. The WNBA uses the same 3-point line as FIBA (so, 22.15'). At the NCAA level, the 3-point line distance is 20.75 feet, for both men and women.

  10. Great day for the Ducks in general and CJ Verdell in particular.
  11. I've always thought that PAC-12 After Dark translated to PAC-12, Afterthought. Except for Duck games, I don't stay up to watch games that start later than 6 pm. And I sell my tickets to games that start late and stay home, watch in my jammies, and make the 20-second walk from the family room to bed as soon as the game is over. I know that games that would start as early as 9 am here would be terribly inconvenient for most Duck fans, so, even if I had the power, I would not set that as a starting time for any games. But, being an early bird, I'd have no problem being in the stadium that early.
  12. I remember that day! At half-time the Brooks family was on the field and Karen and Casey were crying. 🙂
  13. Forward it to Taggart? 😉
  14. I always wonder what it is about consistently-negative posters at such sites. What do they get out of bashing? Does it somehow build up their egos to tear others down? I don't get it. I just don't get it.
  15. Yum! And Happy Birthday! 🍰
  16. And not to look too far ahead or anything, but should game day come to Eugene, how about Devan Long for the guest picker? 🙂
  17. (Please delete if this is not appropriate.) I'm looking for information on The Cooler restaurant near Autzen. How is the food? Prices? Is it a dive, or not a dive? Thanks!
  18. I just kept checking in for the first 8 hours of today's rounds, but sat glued to my chair for the last hour!
  19. SDSU made it to the championship game in men's basketball this year, so I'd say they're already at a pretty high level in that sport. 🙂
