  1. Give him a shout out in the PA and that should seal the deal! 🤩
  2. I can fully understand individuals thinking exclusively in their own best interest. What I can’t understand is how individuals losing out on multi millions of dollars annually is considered winning. I also can’t understand how individuals that are eager to gain those annual millions can sit by idle while their counterparts squander those millions pointlessly. Even an SEC that dominates a four team field would benefit far more by dominating an expanded playoff field. So would ESPN.
  3. What’s going on here? How can all of college football tie it’s own hands and paralyze itself in spite of its own self interest. With as much money that’s being squandered for nothing, you’d think this would be a get it done yesterday level priority for ALL involved. This topic should be the calendar until it’s resolved.
  4. These stories of Mario’s woes and the fuskies howling the blues are almost as great as the UO progress reports. I didn’t expect this off season to be this much fun back in November.
  5. I like the idea of both a permanent local rival (OSU) and a regional rival (fuskies). We’d also need the same agreement to keep an LA game on schedule every year for recruiting purposes.
  6. Lanning mentioned how he was blown away on seeing Hayward Field in person. I’m sure he plans to use it for the Yowza! effect on recruits. It just screams big time athletics.
  7. Uh oh. Has anybody told Cane fans that grumbling isn’t allowed?
  8. The fuskies have no problem believing the recent rivalry stands at 15-2. But they are completely delusional as to who has the fifteen and who has the two.
  9. Looked like the Ducks took two months forward then one month back.
  10. Wow. That’s a great list. Good to see Harter getting some love.
  11. Not only did we knee cap the fuskies that day, but it was also KT’s official visit. He then called it the best game he had ever seen and presto, he was a Duck.
  12. 15-2 start. Ducks looking ready for March Madness already.
  13. Pinto needs more minutes. Great things happen whenever she's on the floor.
  14. Good for Dye. He put in four years of excellence on the field for UO and now he's ready to go home and start family life.
  15. We may be confusing meters and yards here.
  16. Great story. I could read about those Harter teams all day long. I loved how the Harter basketball teams nicely segued into the early Brooks football teams. The scrappy underdogs that could actually knock off the biggest of boys from time to time defined for me the essence of being a Duck fan in those days.
  17. Maybe Dye wants to show what he does best which is get tough yards on a predictable offense. Oregon plans to open it up with a spread offense with an actual passing attack this year making his tough yardage runs less necessary.
  18. I'm really liking how Lanning is going after these sneaky three star guys. Shows me he's paying attention to true potential and not just star gazing.
  19. I can't wait till we see a defense that turns 3rd and 13 into 4th and 23.
  20. Maybe CaptainCane has a buddy that will take the job.
  21. Never bet on the Ducks in November/ December. Never bet against them in February/ March.
  22. I feel pretty much the same as I did about Cyrus Moss and all the Taggart decommits. It’s the kids decision where they go to school. Are they committed to the school or the coach? Whatever they feel, is what they should do.
  23. If money’s a goal but the NFL isn’t an option, I’d say just get into coaching ASAP. I think he’d have a bright and lucrative future in that direction.
  24. Dye benefited the most from Mario's plodding offensive scheme. His many impressive runs carrying two to three defenders an extra few yards made the offense look much better than it actually was. Bringing in a new spread offense designed to generate explosion plays won't highlight his skill set. I personally think leaving for the pros while the iron's hot would be the best decision. Moving to a struggling offensive team would also make sense.
