The Conference Dominoes Start with Notre Dame...in a Few Days
if USuCk leaves, and sUCLA has to stay, the Crap 12 will be Crap 12 in reference to more than the officiating and Larry, just because they go. It's their brand even though 8-4 is a good year since Pete Carroll left. The condoms go B1G then we may have to as well. It cracks me up, they probably won't even win the south this year but Lost Wages has them as the favorite already. They don't have the lines, offense or defense, and too little depth. Riley can bring in the flash players all he wants but they have some building to do. Their receivers will be slowing up after 5-6 seconds wondering where the ball is, and their Heismann hopeful transfer QB will be picking himself up off the coliseum floor again pulling real grass out of his facemask. 4th and long, another punt by the condoms

Miami Mischief?
A bunch of 5* kids going 8-4 every year will wear thin in 4-5 years, can we get the kids that want a natty over $Millions? With the League never a sure thing, injuries possibilities, etc. I can't blame them. You can buy a natty, or you can buy natty rosters and coach them into the dirt and lose to Ball State with an inept offense. Which do you think Mari Cristbal will do?

Oregon Recruit: 5-Star QB Dante Moore Puts on a Show
Hopefully he is named alpha, and hopefully he too comes to Oregon...and has Heismann success Archie Griffin style during our three-peat natty streak

Will Oregon’s Offense Instantly Improve Under Dillingham?
Charles you spelled Cristbal wrong, or with him should it be "wrng"???

Omigosh! How Can Baylor Be No. 5 in Recruiting?
Ummm...I wouldn't be surprised if we have 17 or so 4 and 5 star kids, with a record number of 5's. Yeah mutts and bears are no worry

How Many 5-Stars is Lanning After?
Verballed to Texas this morning...don't forget early signing day is well into December. Let's just give Sarkisian 12 games to get to 7-5 and THEN see how many verbal's still want to underachieve there...just like the UW and USC days. We'll be loaded at WR anyhow. DT, DE, ILB, CB, OT, OG, Moore and Young...let's load up there. Class of '24 could be insane if we see success on the field this year.

Will Oregon’s Offense Instantly Improve Under Dillingham?
And as we all know, Herbert still got picked 6th...and Mari's offense was clearly holding him back. There is no doubt we'll see immediate and drastic improvements on offense, we have a lot of talent at skill positions and a great OL, and decent depth. Still young...not too many inexplicable picks by the QB and we'll be fantastic. D will be a lot better too, overnight.

Oregon Becomes Favorite to Land 4-Star LB After Official Visit
I hope we ransack the Pac this fall, double down on Ewetah, and the Georgia upset puts us 13-0 going into the playoffs at early signing...and about 8-10 5* kids sign on early. Hey, could happen

Ouch! Ouch! Jon Wilner Throws Shade on Cristobal
Under Mari Cristbal, that $9.5M will look pretty funny when the 5 star kid gets in because the transfer is injured and he throws more picks than touchdowns and the "U" goes 7-5 in a good year. Can't blame the kid for taking the money. Remember when we were 18? Doesn't matter to them I guess, some booster ponied up the dough. After 3 years of mediocre bowls like the Johnson Flex Handle Doggie Doo Scooper Bowl on December 16th, the Miami faithful will force him out, he'll be coaching the O-Line at Central Connecticut Tech School for Screwdriver Testers at his next stop. Rashada will resurrect his college career at Prairie Dog State.

Is Washington Becoming the Next 'Cal' in the Conference?
"Mistake on the lake where delusions of grandeur bloom eternal." Oh that made my day...🤣 so true too... DeBoer's record speaks volumes...he is already getting more 4* than he had at Fresno St. and proved that coaching can take 3* to high levels, we saw that ourselves a few years ago, Belotti, Chip, etc. So don't take the mutts lightly, any more than a Wilcox coached Cal. And...Mari Cristbal...and staff, proves how much talent can be wasted with pathetic coaching. Hoping of course Lanning and company will combine both elements for high levels of success. I can't see our D being anything but stellar, and I have a feeling the offense will be good. Can't be any worse than that what we saw the last 2 years!

Unbelievable: T&F Coach Robert Johnson Fired
Oh, and I still can't believe our Uncle hasn't funded an INDOOR facility that would be prime to host WORLDS in Eugene

Unbelievable: T&F Coach Robert Johnson Fired
He helped us become more of a sprint program but we won the Pac this year again both men and women, and then did WHAT at nationals? We have WHAT for a facility? Uncle WHO and WHAT company for top notch T&F exposure? A company founded by a T&F athlete alum...did he have any say in this you think? It does feel like it's time for a change

Archie Manning Commits to Texas
Well good for him...nothing like going 8-4 at best for a couple years before NFL money arrives.

State's Top Prospect Riley Williams Drops Ducks
Probably doesn't see immediate playing time. We'll land a good one next year if not another good one this year

Oregon Won’t Become Georgia Overnight
One thing about Lanning, while they had talent on the roster already, he took them to a historically #1 rated Defense in just a couple years. As much as I disliked Tosh when he was with Cal, and even less with the perpil pooch mutts, he's a top recruiter and smart D coach, and the rest of the D coaches will DEVELOP players, something as Joshua points out, was a weak point under Mari Cristbal. KD and the offensive assistants will be great in all these aspects as well, development, recruiting, scheme...a couple top classes (which seem to be brewing already) and a Natty may be like the stupid right side mirrors on cars...closer than it appears. I hope so of course!

Ducks Track & Field NCAA Championships
Yeah kinda bummed, T&F is our bread and butter, we all love football and MBB and WBB and the success the last 20 years, I hope we win it all in all the above, softball and baseball too, volleyball...but we won the Pac 12 again at least, but several Pac 12 schools look like they could finish above us in both Men's and Women's. The bark rats have 2 in the women's steeple final...they haven't scored a point at nationals in women's since 1986 (!) Our sprints are better than our distance? Losing the distance coaching couple to the perpil pooch mutts up north was gag-barfy. Oh, no more purple banners on this forum, please. I gotta go lie down

No Roses for the Beavers--Memories from 2008 (and 2009)
One of the guys, I forget which letter he was, was absent much of the game so they couldn't even spell BEAVERS. He probably was already frozen, or on the floor drunk passed out

Unlimited Official Visits Will Only Make College Football Worse
NIL and the Portal are problems. Unlimited officials will be too. What about, a kid gets 10, a school gets 112? Lanning hinted at the loss of time with their families for coaches. Those guys all work insane hours as it is, but those 5* kids from SEC country, this is the way to get more of them to Eugene. Some may just want to see the world's best facilities, but some will see Oregon as a legit contender, and we may end up getting more of those type of elite recruits. I already see this staff as coaches who can DEVELOP the players, which Mari Cristbal and staff didn't seem to do. The schemes will be WAY better, which = wins. We'll see this fall. A big season with the existing talent could reap huge reward for the class of '23, let alone classes down the road. Development will make kids believe OREGON will be as good as anywhere to help get to the League. Playing for natty's doesn't hurt either.
