Pac-12 Preseason Media Poll
Right after I wrote it, I realized that this will happen several times in the 12 team playoff future... especially in the SEC and the B1G. Going with this scenario, It will be possible for top teams in a conference to play each other 3 times in a year: 1 regular conference play, 1 conference championship, 1 playoff (if both win until they meet).

Pac-12 Preseason Media Poll
OR OSU can beat Oregon in the rivalry game and then Oregon wins in Vegas. Everyone says it´s hard to beat a team twice in one year (ask the 2012 LSU team). ¿Which of the two would you rather lose? If they were both undefeated going into the rivalry game and split the two games on consecutive weekends, They would both be 12-1. Could they both get an invitation to the invitational???

Pac-12 Preseason Media Poll
How about Ducks and Beavs in Vegas for the title???

Blah, Blah Blah, Pac 12 Media Deal to be Announced "In the Near Future", But Not Friday/Media Day
Totally right. When game day comes along, I just want to know what channel to find the Ducks. The reason folks are obsessed with them is three-fold. For a few years now we have been noticing (and stressing) about how much more the SEC schools were getting in media money each year in comparison to everyone else. The B1G just got a new media deal and poached two PAC 12 teams with it. We see the ACC stuck in a bad media deal and then strike another deal with someone else that will help out some. (The new deal, of course, came after everyone's obsession, but it still fuels the fire somewhat.)

What? Oregon Has One of CFB's EASIEST Schedules?
Of course Oregon has an easier schedule!!! They don't have to play Oregon.

Which Pac-12 Coach Is On the Hottest Seat in 2023?
I think it is somewhat crazy to think that either Dan Lanning or Jonathan Smith is anything right now but untouchable.

Most Expensive Home Game Ticket for Every Pac-12 Team in 2023
I thought it might be for a whole suite, not just a single seat.

Canzano: Waking Up to East Coast Bias
The last line in the article is what got my attention: "If that’s not impressive, also know that Markley got along well with Chip Kelly." What??? a media type guy that got along with Chip Kelley??? No wonder he mentioned it!

I hope he is family.

Does Oregon Have Too Much Talent at RB?
I would keep things mostly as they were last year. Rotate and keep guys fresh. If the freshmen deserve the snaps, they can have the ones that Dollars and others took last year. I loved the way Dollars and Whittington blocked for each other when they were on the field together. You've also got the Go-Go option.

What the USC-Oregon Game's Impact on College Football Is
These records reveal the REAL reason the Trojans are leaving the PAC. Their win percentage in Autzen is holding on by a thread. If they stay in the PAC, they will most likely have a losing record at Autzen before we get to 2030... probably a lot sooner. What self-respecting Trojan fan could stomach that?

Lanning Close to a Verbal From Rivals 2024 5-Star Linebacker--Over Georgia?
I have always rooted for the team that beat my team to go all the way. That way, who's to say that my team isn't second best? Georgia repeating last year made the opening loss not sting so bad, especially being the first game for a new coach, new system, etc.

Sanders May Lose Foot. Affects CO Football?
This is very sad. I hope it doesn't affect his ability to coach in any way. We want a strong PAC.

Oregon State AD Scott Barnes Supports Uneven Split of College Football Playoff Revenue
With the current trajectory at OSU (since JS arrived), they have a real chance to be in the post season picture. OSU football, men's BB, and women's BB all have reasonable shots at post season play and would benefit from unequal shares of post season money.

Interesting Quotes About Dan Lanning by a Recruit...
You can encourage students to be involved in a community of faith without giving any direction as to which faith. Every now and then I hear on the radio (non-religious) about benefits of belonging to a community of faith... ANY faith.

Future Conference Scheduling - The B1G Nails It!
I wonder if the LA schools tried to join the B1G in football and basketball only, to stay in the PAC for the other sports???? It would have been a lot less travel, a lot cheaper, and a lot easier on the STUDENT/athletes.

We'll see if this results in a lot of athletes jumping ship in the portal for "greener" pastures.

Who Do YOU Play at Garbage Time? Austin Novosad or Ty Thompson?
The coaches know more than I do... I choose to defer to them.

Is Bo Nix Worth a 1.5 Million NIL?
If you were holding the NIL purse strings last year, What would you offer Nix to stay for one more? If it was available, I'm sure most of us would think 1.5 is a deal... especially if we knew all the roster changes that DL would be able to put in place before summer.

It's Prime Time in Boulder
What the article ignores is the fact that, because Prime is in his FIRST year, he is allowed to cut players and bring in more from the portal. After the first year, that option is greatly reduced. He can't make wholesale cuts... he can only inform that playing time will probably be better somewhere else. If nobody leaves, the coach would still be stuck with them, even if he didn't want to play them. Of course, many would chose to leave. My point is that a second year Prime can't do what a first year Prime can do. If the players he brought in this year don't work out, he can't do it again.

CBS Sports Ranking of the Top 25 College Football (CFB) Coaches Heading into the 2023 Season
This might be spot on. Yes, Day one the day in the Rose Bowl and has been to the playoff several times... but with how many 4* and 5* players does he have on the roster, mostly because it is tOSU? Also tOSU can afford the best assistant coaches out there. KW has built his program from the ground up, over decades (in football years). He started with 2* and a few 3*. Now he is recruiting good 3* and a few 4*… but still way behind what tOSU can bring in. KW has just won the PAC 12 two times in a row, including last year when there were many top flight teams competing. FIVE PAC 12 teams won 10 games or more last year... and it's not just because they played all cupcakes. I obviously think that DL deserves to be on this list, and so does Jonathan Smith... These two guys are both wizards in their own way.
