  1. Tez's story pulls at my heart strings. An undersized and under-the-radar WR, who grew up an Oregon Ducks football fan (in Alabama), adopted by the Nix family and found his way to Eugene, Oregon to show everyone what he is capable of. Congrats on becoming the first wide receiver to win the Big-10 Conference Championship MVP! [And he's not done, yet!] Hey Tez: "Once a Duck, Always a Duck!"
  2. Can we drop the mic and re-unite the band now?
  3. Wasn't he targeted on that key 3rd and long play in the 4th quarter? It seems like a mix up between the WR and QB because the ball was thrown well short.
  4. I LOVE this Oregon Ducks football team!!! It's a collection of really special and talented players, who seem to love playing with and for one another, led by some really good, vocal upper classmen leaders (DG, Tez, T-Ferg, Connerly, Bassa, Burch, Harmon, Boucher, Mohammad, et al) and coaches. Quarterback is the most important position in football. Oregon has by far the best QB in college football this season. DG is a mature leader and has ice in his veins in clutch moments, when the game is on the line (e.g., conversions to T-Ferg on 4th down in the Penn State and Wisconsin games, winning drive last season against Texas). If Oregon plays up their standard and stays healthy and hungry, the sky's the limit. I would not bet against the 2024-25 Oregon Football team!
  5. Dan Lanning doesn't make excuses when his team loses...he compliments the other team and then figures out what HE needs to do to make the program better (e.g., upgrade the entire roster after the Georgia loss, improve the run defense after the OSU loss, add more secondary talent and improve game time decisions after the UW loses). Day, Franklin and Mario will never get better, IMO, because they always blame others for their losses, instead of looking internally on how they and their teams could improve. “You cannot solve a problem with the same mind that created it.” -- Albert Einstein

  7. Oregon Beats Penn State - Josh Pate Big Ten Championship Reaction Josh Pate: "[Oregon] is the top recruiting power in the Big-10 right now and moving forward, until something changes. I think that they are the top program in the Big-10, right now and moving forward, until something changes...Oregon is where they should be."
  8. One Year After Pac-12 Dissolved Oregon and ASU Reach CFP FRONTOFFICESPORTS.COM The success of former conference members, who won their new league championships on Saturday, is just more salt in the wound for the Pac-12. Remind me again why the Pac had to dissolve?
  9. Life must be miserable to be a head football coach in the midwest that can't win big games (e.g., Ryan Day, James Franklin). At least Lincoln Riley gets to enjoy the Southern California weather, entertainment and beaches.... The first thing out of Frankiln's mouth during his post-game press conference, was that he didn't want to take anything away from Oregon but then he went on to complain about the officiating. The refs didn't throw the ball down the sideline, late in the game, to a WR that was covered, James...
  10. LOL. I was excited about Oregon potentially signing a TCU DT transfer and then the next post I saw was that Harmon was considering the Ducks....
  11. The B1G Conference was the big winner of conference championship weekend. Putting aside my Duck fandom...that was a really good and entertaining conference championship game featuring the #1 vs. #3 team in college football (with 1 collective loss between them). By comparison, the SEC Championship was a sloppy game, and I couldn't care less about the other conference championship games, unless you are a fan of one of the teams participating. Both Oregon and PSU left no doubt that they belonged in the playoffs last night and are two of the best teams in the land. [And the B1G got the #1 team and conference champion for 1/2 media shares...]
  12. We might see Penn State, again, sooner (in the playoffs).... [That is a very good football team and they should make a run in the playoffs.]
  13. UCF reportedly set to hire Scott Frost: Why the Knights are bringing back their former head coach WWW.SPORTINGNEWS.COM UCF is reportedly set to bring back its former head coach, Scott Frost. The former Knights head coach...
  14. If it were 1991, Oregon would be the unanimous National Champions. Now we have to play a playoffs, after a 13-0 season.
  15. Please don’t run up the middle. Please. Please. Please.
  16. Great interception. Reed has a nice pair of hands. He could start at WR for most B1G teams.
  17. I don’t know how you can defend Oregon’s defense after this game. Penn State has only score more against: Kent (56) Purdue (49) Maryland (44)
  18. The QB is killing us with his legs. Our d line is not containing him.
  19. Then our defense proceeds to give up a 3rd and long conversion
  20. That was a B1G TD. Way to eat 6 minutes off the clock and finish the drive. DG to T-Ferg on another clutch conversion.
  21. I don’t understand why we don’t go tempo when there is a close call.
