January 1Jan 1 I hope this is not negative.. a great season. But perhaps this show why we didn't t have more all big ten? We need a stop here or I have to go out in the rain...
January 1Jan 1 Moderator Hate to say it, but I think OSU is just too good, not really close. No excuses. Bummer.
January 1Jan 1 I didn't expect our defense to do much, but I still thought our offense could outscore them. So far, I've been wrong across the board. What an abject embarrassment.
January 1Jan 1 The offensive gameplan to this point looks kind of like what you might scheme up for a home opener against Portland State, not one of the best defenses in the nation in the playoff.
January 1Jan 1 And I must say, We have seen these offensive issues before this season.. May not get away with it today. Now Im done... Happy New Year to all!
January 1Jan 1 Got to minimize the hole we dig as we get the rust off, need to shift momentum and get a stop. We knew this would be tough as tOSU is the best in the playoff field. Sucks to face them coming off 3 weeks…
January 1Jan 1 The nuts are faster and much better prepared. Much more physical. Our offense is so. damn. predictable. They know what’s coming and are fully in position.
January 1Jan 1 Their lines are DOMINANT! Howard has all the time he needs to make the throws. Gabriel throwing under pressure constantly.

January 1Jan 1 Moderator What on Earth are the DBs looking at? They keep leaving Jeremiah Smith of all people open.

We just need some other guys to step up. On 10/18/2024 at 10:16 PM, David Marsh said: I'm just not at all impressed with Whittington. He either is a home run or gets next to nothing. And lately it's been nothing. On 10/21/2024 at 10:39 PM, Charles Fischer said: The difference is, I gave reasons why, and how it all makes sense within Dan Lanning’s plan. So not scoring as much is by design, and a good thing, and not something for us to be concerned about yet. If I sensed we genuinely had a problem, I would say so. But after tracking our offenses for a dozen years, I can see a very distinct pattern that is different from prior years, and different from last year with the same offensive coordinator. Or we can disagree. No sweat. On 1/1/2025 at 6:07 PM, OregonDucks said: Ohio State is the better team and are pissed off. And have all the momentum…
January 1Jan 1 This is the game plan Tosh worked on for a month? Certainly he knew #4 would be playing.
January 1Jan 1 The defense just looks horribly unprepared. At this point in the game they have to be worn down too.
January 1Jan 1 Wow, coaching staff should be embarrassed by this game, we look completely confused on basically every play, our offense is so obvious, we have to throw the ball down the field, but we refused to even attempt other than one pass. We deserve to get blown out. Probably the worst display of football by supposedly the #1 team in a bowl game ever.
January 1Jan 1 Author Administrator Remember everyone....discussing negative is FINE, as that is what we do on a forum. But in case things don't go well...we do not allow people to VENT on us, or have a meltdown. There is a big difference between discussing negative, which is fine versus Venting/Melting down. My thanks. (Nobody has done anything wrong, but I am just reminding everyone in case) Mr. FishDuck
January 1Jan 1 Moderator DG sees the pile up in front of him, why doesn’t he pull the ball instead of letting James run into a wall?
January 1Jan 1 Seems that month off getting our bodies back didn't serve us well. And - Classic Chip Kelly.
January 1Jan 1 Okay... now this is simply hilarious. This is one of the greatest embarrassments in college football history.
January 1Jan 1 Ive never more embarrased by the Ducks.. I thought the Cristo Utah games were bad..this the worst
January 1Jan 1 Time for the reserves. Get ready for next yr! Take first team defense out. Hudda Thunk! Say what ya want about Chip, but.......
January 1Jan 1 At this point 24-0 it is just too deep of a hole. I'm disappointed with our showing. It's just not representative of our best. It's been a fantastic year, it's just tough to finish this way. There will be lots of second guessing about our team that will be tough to deal with for an off-season. 31-0 now with 8 minutes left in the 2nd quarter. It's almost like they went from not showing up to giving up without bothering to compete in between. I'm not venting, but at the same time I think there is no point me commenting further at this point. Talk to you all in the off-season. Take care.
January 1Jan 1 No depth in the playbook. Defense is lost. I love my Ducks, but I’ve seen this too many times over 40+ years. Tez hurt, James hurt. No chance. See y’all again in August.
January 1Jan 1 Would love to see Dante in the second half. DG has been fine this year. This game isn’t his fault. Just curious how the offense would look with a quarterback that can see over the line.
January 1Jan 1 OBD receivers have not been open all afternoon. tOSU's have not been covered... ALL.AFTERNOON.

January 1Jan 1 Will stein needs to realize Gabriel is small. Roll and move the pocket, so disappointing to watch our safeties flat footed.
