  1. Can we see some adjustments, please?
  2. Some say you can't make a Palouse without a louse.
  3. Aaargh...Max Borghi seemed to play at WSU for a decade and always was a thorn in the Ducks' side. Kind of like Britain Covey at Utah. Both smart, underrated players. I think you made an excellent case against your own argument with all the points about the Cougs. But it is Pullman, the Area 51 of college football games. Stay nervous, my friends.
  4. I believe Australian punters are now mandatory at the D1 level, mate. Ever watched Australian Rules Football? Those lads can kick a ball.
  5. Stupid has consequences, and they are deserved in this case.
  6. Speech may (mostly) not be regulated by the government, but just like Twitter for example, you as Mr. Fishduck on your site, are free to tell people to fold it twelve times and put it where the sun don’t shine. And I have no problem with that. People can exercise their horrible free Duck speech somewhere else.
  7. One data point, that others more knowledgeable than me can interpret, is the linebacker snap count from the BYU game, courtesy of Ducks Wire: Jeffrey Basa 38 Jackson LaDuke 31 Noah Sewell 28 Keith Brown 24 Mase Funa 24
  8. Going to the Palouse is like entering the Bermuda Triangle; strange things happen. I always fear games in Pullman. And, WSU will throw and throw, attacking the weak point of the Ducks' defense. Stay nervous, my friends.
  9. Nice guy, great recruiter, awful coach.
  10. I learned that watching Ducks football can be fun again. It's obvious from afar that the team is focused, disciplined, crisp, aggressive, and ready to play. All things that were missing under what's-his-name. No more deflating play calls, bad choices, disorganization, baffling time-outs, and lack of energy. Win or lose, Lanning's teams are going to be ready to play and engaging to watch.
  11. Looking at the box score, Sewell had just 2 tackles; Bassa had 5, Brown and LaDuke 4 each, and Funa 3. Odd.
  12. Is Thompson getting the starting O linemen in front of him?
  13. Players playing great, but the biggest difference last year to this season? The coaching.
  14. BYU is going to have to throw. Watch out, Bridges.
  15. Oregon 38 - 24 2 turnovers 3 sacks 297 yards passing
  16. As always, a valuable lesson, clearly put together.
  17. BYU followed by WSU…tough schedule.
  18. In my few minutes of viewing, I saw a lot of missed tackles by Alabama. Not just a Ducks' thing.
  19. Oregon 49 - 20 2 turnovers 2 sacks 362 yards passing
  20. Well, that analysis sure doesn't bode well for this season. And, next season too, unless Dante Moore is really, really good.
  21. Well, Thompson and Butterfield have had multiple years and two sets of coaches to impress, and apparently have failed to do so. Are they not that good? Have they not been developed? Two need for two grad-transfer QBs in two years does not speak well of something in the program.
