  1. Remember the thread here about how we did not need to fear the blowout? Georgia and Oregon are in different leagues, literally and figuratively.
  2. Hmmm...how much leash does Bo have?
  3. So far, the defense looks very much like last year, soft with very poor tackling.
  4. • Georgia 27 - 17 • 1 TO • 2 Sacks • 246 yards passing
  5. This thread is the OBD forum at its best; where else are you going to see a discussion like this, with knowledgeable information and no flaming nonsense? Aren't there some weak players you can talk about? Thanks, Georgia guys!
  6. ESU, Enormous State University, in the Tank McNamara comic strip. They had a stock car racing team…”put the pedal to the metal for ESU!”
  7. Very reasonable opinions expressed on that site. Thanks for posting the link.
  8. But wait! The internet is free, right? 😆 As long as the USC or Huskies football programs don't show up, I'm fine with it.
  9. And, thanks to Larry Scott, the recruit may have not seen those two at all.
  10. Royalty in the vein of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg.
  11. Congratulations, Charles. It's an impressive piece of work.
  12. This could be significant in reducing or minimizing injuries. The fact that FIFA has approved it means a lot, as FIFA generally doesn't like synthetic surfaces.
  13. Ja'Kobi Lane from Arizona. Ja'Kobi Lane's Crystal Ball Predictions 247SPORTS.COM
  14. Noted in the article that the ADs from USC and UCLA did not even bother to attend the media day. Such cowards.
  15. The rich get richer.
  16. When Kliavkoff says this, I'm not sure how it can be thought he's blaming the players... "When I look at what's taking place in college sports, I believe we have collectively lost sight of the student athlete."
  17. Lanning believes in "watering the bamboo". Just like another Oregon coach.
  18. I can just hear other coaches filling young minds with stuff about the future of Oregon and the PAC. You gotta know it's going on.
  19. In the 2002 (?) rankings? Thought those were settled twenty years later. 😉
  20. I think the fallout of the USC/UCLA debacle could be starting to affect recruiting. It's not popping like it was prior to the spoiled children having a tantrum. Add up the Taumanupepe and Dickey rumors, Miles McVay now looking like an Alabama commit, Banuelos specifically citing conference realignment in picking USC, and you could make the argument for a trend.
  21. USC wins the off -season, once again.
  22. Love this part of the article: Niedermeyer and Gunn arranged or provided $2,463 to a recruit and his family from January to December 2019, including cash, hotel stays, entertainment, transportation and team apparel. Niedermeyer also paid the recruit $750 cash at his high school, provided more gifts during an unofficial visit and accompanied the recruit and his family on a flight to Knoxville for an official visit. The recruit did not enroll at Tennessee.
  23. Miles McVay from St. Louis, the #19 OT in 2023. Oregon Recruiting: Ducks become new favorite to land massive 4-star OL DUCKSWIRE.USATODAY.COM Oregon is now the heavy favorite to land a top-20 OL in the 2023 class.
  24. It's the right thing to do, Charles.
