Oregon/Georgia GameDay Thread!
Remember the thread here about how we did not need to fear the blowout? Georgia and Oregon are in different leagues, literally and figuratively.

New Guys to Know - UGA
This thread is the OBD forum at its best; where else are you going to see a discussion like this, with knowledgeable information and no flaming nonsense? Aren't there some weak players you can talk about? Thanks, Georgia guys!

What's Your Most Memorable Fictional College Sports Program?
ESU, Enormous State University, in the Tank McNamara comic strip. They had a stock car racing team…”put the pedal to the metal for ESU!”

Advertising on FishDuck and Now the FORUM....WHAT?
But wait! The internet is free, right? 😆 As long as the USC or Huskies football programs don't show up, I'm fine with it.

The Autzen Stadium Turf
This could be significant in reducing or minimizing injuries. The fact that FIFA has approved it means a lot, as FIFA generally doesn't like synthetic surfaces.

Canzano Media Day Tweets
When Kliavkoff says this, I'm not sure how it can be thought he's blaming the players... "When I look at what's taking place in college sports, I believe we have collectively lost sight of the student athlete."

Samu Taumanupepe Postpones Commitment Date
I think the fallout of the USC/UCLA debacle could be starting to affect recruiting. It's not popping like it was prior to the spoiled children having a tantrum. Add up the Taumanupepe and Dickey rumors, Miles McVay now looking like an Alabama commit, Banuelos specifically citing conference realignment in picking USC, and you could make the argument for a trend.

USC, The Paper Powerhouse.

Ruh-Roh: Tennessee in NCAA Trouble!
Love this part of the article: Niedermeyer and Gunn arranged or provided $2,463 to a recruit and his family from January to December 2019, including cash, hotel stays, entertainment, transportation and team apparel. Niedermeyer also paid the recruit $750 cash at his high school, provided more gifts during an unofficial visit and accompanied the recruit and his family on a flight to Knoxville for an official visit. The recruit did not enroll at Tennessee.
