  1. It's what to wear to the New Year's Eve party.
  2. Remember, this whole story comes from from Larry Scott, filtered through John Canzano, neither of whom are over-burdened with a devotion to the truth.
  3. All due respect , but presidents of major universities, which are surely in the real world, have responsibilities much larger than just being presidents of the football team.
  4. Again, like with Dillingham, I think no coach would be this provocative, unless there was positively fire behind the Smoke. I say Young is coming.
  5. What's so special about Notre Dame football? Nothing but the myth. Like an empty celebrity, they're famous for being well-known.
  6. With these tweets, Dillingham will never live it down if Moore does not commit. Gotta think it's a done deal.
  7. Can't like this attitude enough. College football as a safe refuge from the real world has been destroyed. But, I can't do anything about it, so I'm going to try to maintain an even strain until the people who can do something about it, do something about it, whatever that something may be.
  8. Places that are cheap are usually that way because no one wants to live there. So, welcome to Arkansas.
  9. We should know the outcome in 3 -4 years.
  10. Does that mean he now has to get each of his O-linemen an Audi?
  11. Since the real Stalin would have had the accusing commentor executed, I think we can say that Charles, you are no Stalin.
  12. OMG...that is just both sad and comical at the same time. Whoever wrote that must have been frozen in 1991 and just thawed out. BTW...Codi Decambra just committed to Oregon today. Not Washington.
  13. I like to think that the SEC stands only for the Securites & Exchange Commission.
  14. Fan fiction for May, with zero evidence.
  15. Totally disagree. As long as uniform design, with off-brand colors, is a major cool factor that attracts players and fans, why mess with it? And FWIW, I like the black, grey and white combos.
  16. Eagle Jaguar E-Type Low-Drag Coupe has to be the winner.
  17. Gotta agree with that! There will be rough spots and weaknesses in this year's team, but from what we've seen so far, the errors will be errors of commission, rather errors of omission, as they're been the last few years.
  18. Notre Dame's AD says D1 athletics are headed for a split: ...the fracture lines within the 130-member FBS could leave two disparate approaches: schools that still operate athletics within a traditional educational structure, and those who tie sports to the university in name only. “There’s always been sort of a spectrum—and I want to stress that everything along the spectrum is valid; it’s not a criticism,” Swarbrick said. “On one end of the spectrum, you license the school name and run an independent business that’s engaged in sports. The other end of the spectrum, you’re integrated into the university in terms of decision making and requirements, and some follow that. A brave new world.
  19. I thought it was illegal for a QB to line up under center.
  20. They're going to remember those sentences, aren't they? Results!
  21. That is really searching hard for a grievance. But, when you always think everything is about you, I guess it comes naturally.
  22. Maybe next seen in the portal, for better or for worse.
  23. Well, Husky football is comparable in quality, and prowess, to Starbucks coffee.
  24. Recommended reading for fans of the team that lost to Montana: Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds by Charles Mackay, first published in 1871.
  25. They're way more rational and honest than fans of that team that lost to Montana. But, that's a low bar.
