STRIPE OUT for the Colorado Game at Autzen
If it's going to work, it would be now, during T-shirt weather. Most people have T-shirts in a variety of Duck colors. But when it comes time for winter/rain jackets, most of us have them in only one or two colors.

Football Schedules for Big 10 and Big 12 Next Year?
Usually schedules are made years in advance. So how are the schedules going to be made for the revamped Bigs next year? I assume the 2024 seasons had already been planned before the great migration, and now there will have to be considerable shuffling around. Are people working 25 hours a day and 8 days a week to accomplish this? And when will fans find out what the schedules are?

How to watch CU vs Ducks
It says 12:30 on my tickets for the game, so I'll assume 12:30. 🙂

What About Oregon's Secondary?
It's said that the greatest improvement is between the first and second games of the season. But since Oregon played PSU in the first game and was not really challenged at all, maybe the greatest improvement for this team will be between the second and third game--or even between the third and the fourth.

Oregon vs. Texas Tech: Never-in-Doubt!
I don't remember know how much time was left on the clock when Kenny Wheaton made that interception against udub, but I do remember that the coaches were yelling to him to take a knee. Of course, as we all know, he didn't, and how much less exciting would it have been if he had taken a knee? We wouldn't have "Kenny Wheaton's gonna score, Kenny Wheaton's gonna score!" 🙂

College Students & Spelling
Still, you'd think if they would have been taught or at least read proper English enough to be familiar with "could've." But from what I've seen on various sites, it's not just young folk twisting the English language. Ah, well.

College Students & Spelling
On the internet, my pet peeve: "Could of, would of, should of." Were the posters never taught the contractions to properly combine two words?

No Sacks! No Defense! No Problem for Oregon
Now if we could get Georgia, Alabama, etc. to come to Autzen... 😄

How To Improve Bland Fan Experience At Oregon Football And Basketball?
I love both those songs between quarters too! If the marching band would play, you know, a march at half time, I'd love that also. As for timeouts, I usually take that time to hit the concession stand and/or the restroom!

No Sacks! No Defense! No Problem for Oregon
This! Let those teams come to Autzen, or at least to a "neutral" field such as Las Vegas.

Ouch! Bizarre Injury to PSU Player vs Oregon
Yikes! I hope the player will be okay.

Ducks Push PSU Around While Duck Pushes the Ground
I think The Duck's bill keeps him from dropping down all the way--and I'm sure The Duck is okay with that. 🙂

Let’s Grade the Position Groups vs. Portland State
Actually, from what I've heard from The Duck, there are two ducks per game, one for each half. However, sharing the pushup load is still impressive. 🙂

Omigosh! The Best Dig at USC EVER...
I can't remember now exactly what he said, but at the time I thought that he was being sarcastic and that he really thought along the lines of what he said above.

Do You Clap for the Opposing Team When It Runs onto the Field? And What About Booing?
I hadn't been thinking of this when I started the thread, but it has since occurred to me that, considering the fires in Maui, it might be nice to give a really friendly welcome to the Hawaii team when they run out onto the field.

Do You Like Oregon Being the Underdog?
If the opponent underestimates the underdog, I think it can be a good thing.

Is Puddles related to Donald Duck?
Thanks for posting! When our mascot is a "speaker" at Daisy Ducks meetings, he talks only when he is not in the costume. He says that his official name is The Duck and that Puddles was the name of his predecessor, the actual waterfowl. I still have a sweatshirt with The Duck in the fists-raised pose, and I've seen T-shirts at The Duck Store with that same picture. But as mentioned in the video, anything with that image can be sold only in Oregon. I am, of course, biased, but I think Oregon has the best college mascot ever!

Do You Clap for the Opposing Team When It Runs onto the Field? And What About Booing?
I do clap when the opposing team runs onto the field, though the heartiness of my applause is in inverse proportion to how good the other team is (or is expected to be). For example, I will clap warmly for Portland State and Hawaii, but my applause for USC will be tepid at best. For a couple of long-time arch-enemy teams (you, and they, know who they are) I keep my hands folded in my lap. I rarely boo, except the refs--and even Miss Manners says booing the refs is part of the game experience. How about you, when it comes to clapping and/or booing?

- Why Does Week 0 Have to Suck this Bad???
I will probably watch a few minutes of the games, just to get that football feeling rolling, but otherwise it's a good day to read and work on a jigsaw puzzle. 🙂- UO Hype Video
