I’m watching some D2 Football playoff action. The Harding (AR) Bisons are leading the Pittsburgh State (KS) Gorillas 7-3. I came to the conclusion that there are not enough teams out there with the gorilla as a mascot. Very underrated.

I’ll end this argument right here. The bottom line up front is the SEC’s top tier has too many losses to bad teams. The top 4 teams in the B1G’s record against teams NOT named Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State and Indiana. 37 wins vs. 0 losses. The top 6 teams in the SEC’s record against teams NOT named Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Ole Miss, Texas and Texas A&M. 44 wins - 6 losses (4 of these losses are against unranked teams). Three of the SEC’s top six teams have losses to unranked teams while the B1G’s top four teams haven’t lost to anyone outside of the top 5.

I would rather get two skilled and experienced OT's from the portal than get a highly experienced transfer QB. Oregon is going to need a good OL next season for any QB to be successful.

McLaughlin was the guy who was rolling snaps back to Milroe in the Rose bowl last year. He took a lot of blame for losing to Michigan. He seemed to have gotten much better this year with the change in scenery. Hopefully, he heals up for whatever the future holds for him.

Dilly is going to hopefully beat BYU. If that happens then I don’t know what the tiebreaker is between ASU and ISU. It should be an easy win for Colorado based on how they’ve been playing.

They’re looking much better than they did in the beginning of the season and I don’t see BYU, ISU or ASU beating them in the Big 12 CG. That would also give them a first round bye. Their OL is still inconsistent, but much improved over last season. They could prove to be a tough out.

I think that CFB is more similar to the NFL than ever. This is why we see great teams not playing well against unranked teams. I think the really good coaches will rest players if they have a ticket to the playoff.

This is why I was the only person to predict a Wisconsin win in the prediction contest. Wisconsin will make Oregon’s offense one-dimensional and tire the defense out to win a low scoring game. It’s tough to get up for a road game 2000 miles east with a bye week on the horizon. They’re playing like they just want to “make it to the bye week”. That’s a recipe for disaster.

Stanford just knocked off #19 Louisville. The upsets are brewing today.
