Maryland is going to win this game. I saw this exact thing happen 2 weeks ago to a top ranked NCAA Division II team. The offense became undisciplined and the defense got tired. Since there is no Ducks thread I must say that Oregon’s defense is playing pretty bad.

Mario made some of the same decisions on 4th down plays as DL did the past couple of seasons. Both coaches got bit pretty hard by them. Lanning survived one against Ohio State, but Mario couldn’t overcome his gambles. The big difference is Lanning does it in huge games.

Cam is very dynamic. He’s a lot like Vick was with VT back in the day. However, if you make him throw from the pocket he’s not as good. He will sell a lot of season tickets for his NFL team.

I will say this for Mario. He is deviating from his trends. Meaning, he is trying play-action passes in short yardage situations. I’m impressed.

GT stopped Miami on 4th down in FG position. They’re using a spy on Cam Ward and trying to keep the rush ends from getting upfield on him. So far, their DB’s are doing a good job in coverage and forcing Miami into long drives. However, Miami doesn’t really start playing until the 4th quarter.

Fisch got some really good players to come to Arizona. My bet is he gets some more to come to uw. Don't be surprised if Noah Fifita transfers to play QB for Fisch next season to improve his draft stock. It has certainly taken a hit this season, so I don't see him going to the NFL early and he definitely won't be staying on with Brent Brennan.
