  1. That was a debacle for the team. It was a debacle for the fans, a debacle for the coaches and players, a debacle for recruiting, a debacle for the PAC. It completely reinforces the national reputation of the Ducks; flashy, but soft, especially when it counts. Gonna be a lot of laughing going on in rival fan bases, lots of laughing. But, there's nowhere to go but up, and actions going forward will speak a lot louder than anything anyone connected with the program can say. One game this bad is way too small a sample size to make any real assessments; gotta see what changes going forward. I sure hope a lot.
  2. Flush this one. The only thing to watch now is how the coaches and the players respond to this.
  3. It appears that Mario is not the only Ducks' coach who thinks his backup QBs can't play.
  4. Game will a bump for recruiting; kids will know there will plenty of opportunity to play.😒
  5. I don't believe I've ever seen the Ducks miss so many tackles, and that's saying something.
  6. Double post. Site seems wonky.
  7. I'm trying to keep the lows high and the highs low. The problem is the lack of highs.
  8. So, if there is not a new QB for the second half, does that mean that the talent gap to Thompson and Butterfield is really much larger than we think?
  9. Are we being out-talented or out-schemed?
  10. Remember the thread here about how we did not need to fear the blowout? Georgia and Oregon are in different leagues, literally and figuratively.
  11. Hmmm...how much leash does Bo have?
  12. So far, the defense looks very much like last year, soft with very poor tackling.
  13. • Georgia 27 - 17 • 1 TO • 2 Sacks • 246 yards passing
  14. This thread is the OBD forum at its best; where else are you going to see a discussion like this, with knowledgeable information and no flaming nonsense? Aren't there some weak players you can talk about? Thanks, Georgia guys!
  15. ESU, Enormous State University, in the Tank McNamara comic strip. They had a stock car racing team…”put the pedal to the metal for ESU!”
  16. Very reasonable opinions expressed on that site. Thanks for posting the link.
  17. But wait! The internet is free, right? 😆 As long as the USC or Huskies football programs don't show up, I'm fine with it.
  18. And, thanks to Larry Scott, the recruit may have not seen those two at all.
  19. Royalty in the vein of Grand Duke Henri of Luxembourg.
  20. Congratulations, Charles. It's an impressive piece of work.
  21. This could be significant in reducing or minimizing injuries. The fact that FIFA has approved it means a lot, as FIFA generally doesn't like synthetic surfaces.
