Oregon and Washington....Would You Agree With This?
EzDucksIt replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
I think the puppies should be quarantined in the kennel. The only cool thing would be that the B1G would have exposure in every state of the West Coast. -
Somebody grease the Axel? Thank you for easing an already rough start of a season that really has not started yet. I look forward to some "Magic" that Oregon can bring, Dan Lanning, here is your chance.

Canzano: Phil Knight Can Help Put the Pac-12 Back Together Again
EzDucksIt replied to NJDuck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Give credit where credit is due. Oregon started by taking on the Blue Bloods. They did not just take the money and settle for being the punching bags. When given the chance to elevate the program, they sought out games against the best and still do. Using the elite competition to elevate the football program put the Oregon brand in front of many future fans and recruits eyes. It showed that Oregon was unafraid of higher rated competition. Hard work and a commitment to succeed made anything possible. Phil Knight and Nike embody this same belief. IMHO, Phil Knight and Nike are all about taking on the competition. The bigger the better, free advertising when you win. Watching that Swoosh, in any sport is a win for all, especially Oregon. Stand Above the Competition. -
Canzano: Phil Knight Can Help Put the Pac-12 Back Together Again
EzDucksIt replied to NJDuck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Oregon got my respect as a team because they were not afraid to face the likes of these programs. I get, early on, Oregon played teams like these for the "pay day". But Brooks, Bellotti and Kelly laid the foundation to succeed by playing up to their opponents. To me, that is the Oregon Way. The phrase, "iron sharpens iron" means something. Everyday, you have to prove yourself, if not to the competition then to your past, to be better. -
USC’s Motives and Implications for Ducks

Oregon's new motto? "Lead or get run over" thanks Phil and Nike for showing the way. -
Wow! ...The Ideas are Flying Like a Flock O' Ducks!
EzDucksIt replied to 1Funduck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Seems like a long time ago, Oregon created a buzz in football innovation and excitement. USC and Ucla have been out of the lime light for sometime now. Leaders, lead, wake up Oregon. I could be wrong. . . -
The World. . . She's a changing. Change with it or get left behind. The Pac 12 has not been it's former self, since becoming the Pac-12. The recent news of USC and Ucla leaving for the Big Ten, should not really, surprise anyone. Chip has very few chances to get Ucla on track or face a change, if one has not already is being planned. Jim Mora was the last coach to have (3) 9 wins or more seasons during his 6 years at Ucla. Terry Donahue was the last coach that had (8) 9 wins or more seasons over his 20 year career. Riley just got to USC. He has yet to show he can build a program. Pete Carroll spent 9 years at USC. His first year, Pete went 6-6 then (7) straight years of 11 or more wins. His final year finishing 9-4 before moving on to the NFL. The coaches following him Kiffin, Sarkisian and Helton never came close to Pete Carroll's record. All of the California schools have seen their home game attendance dwindling. The Los Angles schools, especially needed to make a dramatic change. The conference and the South Division has looked especially weak with Utah having made up some serious ground in competing with both Los Angles schools. In my opinion, there are a lot of teams, that are given more credit for "who they used to be" instead of the teams they are now. Texas and Oklahoma leaving the Big 12 for the SEC. Now USC and Ucla leaving for the Big Ten. Change in scenery looking to build their appearances. The biggest loss I see from all this is Oregon will not play in those cities. Prospective talent loses out on the game day experience, TV exposure. Those have been important recruiting grounds, so valuable to Oregon. So we better start being proactive rather than reactive.

DJ Johnson Could be Big Time Player for Oregon
EzDucksIt replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
DJ has been a great surprise going from defense to offense back to defense. Love his heart, whatever the team needs. He is going to have a great NFL career, IMHO. Will be successful in what ever position he plays, offense or defense. -

The Classic: The Most Beautiful Oregon Uniform...
EzDucksIt replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Change is refreshing but control the Color Palette please. I enjoyed the "Ohana" themed gear, reaching out to the many Polynesian players past and present, that have been part of Oregon's teams. The Women's Cancer Awareness Uniforms, have been interesting. Updated Retro gear brought back memories. -

Wright Still Finds Stanford Loss Wrong
EzDucksIt replied to Charles Fischer's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
We owned them the whole second half. When Oregon took the foot off the gas, they allowed Stanford to get back in the game. Worst game management I had ever seen. Had Oregon, attempted to put the game out of reach, everyone would not be talking about the refs and the penalties. Oregon had injuries through out the season but they have had the better players, now coaching, that was the concern. Watch the change in this team, even with a fair amount of transfers out. -
Kenny Dillingham’s Offense and the Inclusion of the Pistol
EzDucksIt replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Watching Verdell and Dye they did not have the fast eyes and twitch that LMJ, Barner and DAT had. They saw openings and took em. Mario had them running into the big uglies, instead of trusting the RB's to find the holes. Looks so natural for the older guys, not so much in Mario's world. -

Kenny Dillingham’s Offense and the Inclusion of the Pistol
EzDucksIt replied to FishDuck Article's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
All I want to see, no matter the formation is a back like this one that sees a hole and adjusts to it. Loved watching him play and his back up was not so bad either. LaMichael James and Kenjon Barner both having great vision and running skills. Love MadMike videos, was one of the Original staples of Oregon Football and FishDuck. -
Phil Steele's 2022 Projected AP Preseason Top 10
EzDucksIt replied to Annie's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
The Surprise, Miami not mentioned. So they are basing our ranking on current players and new coaching. Miami, not on Coaching or players. The depth and talent on Oregon is good, developing the talent that sticks around will be important. Players like Thompson and Butterfield need to step up, show some leadership and be ready to contribute. -
NFL Analyst: Thibodeaux Could Drop Out of the Top 10
EzDucksIt replied to 30Duck's topic in Our Beloved Ducks
Thibs, keep being you. Get to the League and then show them the player you are. Not impressed with the talking heads. All the MSM types are blow hards. Just get with a team that treats you right and allows you to grow and succeed.
