  1. Very strange interaction between Chip and Pat Narduzzi after the game. Incomplete video appears to show Narduzzi trying to talk to Chip, even pulling on his jacket sleeve. CK said something as he held up a thumb (almost a dismissive wave) and walked away. It will be interesting to see what the pundits say.
  2. Does anyone have information on his status? Offer list ranges from Montana State to Notre Dame, According to the participation report he didn't play a snap this year. Injured? Overrated?
  3. "It's the football and track side of things," said Harbor, who has personal bests of 10.28 in the 100 and 20.79 in the 200 meters.
  4. Sorry, media rights valuation is still to be determined. The Pac needs as many W's as possible. Besides, it's against Texas.
  5. Didn't I hear Joel Klatt comment that Bridges was finally getting snaps because Christian Gonzalez opted out? Maybe they should have done some research on Oregon. Huge improvement during the season.
  6. Based on their post game reaction the players didn't think so. Not pretty at times but they didn't quit!
  7. Isn't the prevailing wisdom the top four teams will get a first round bye and the remaining four games will be played at the home field of the higher seed? I think a 12-0 or 11-1 Pac-?? champion would have a seeding advantage against most 10-2 or 9-3 SEC or B1G also rans.
  8. What is their "top recruiter" criteria? It has Donte Williams with three recruits, average rating 93.05 ranked below Utah's Jim Harding who has three recruits rated at 91.62. Surprise, the Duck site has Oregon with four of the top five recruiters. I smell clickbait.
  9. There are a lot of moving pieces on limits with covid and the transfer portal. I believe rules as they stand today are that there are no limits on signing class size but the 85 scholarship limit returned after temporarily being lifted for 2021. The limit on scholarships going forward remains at 85. Life would be much simpler if the NCAA made this information available to the general public in an easily searchable format. The article linked below is 15 months old but I believe still accurate with respect to annual limits. Ramifications if Scholarship Limit Returns to 85 for 2022 247SPORTS.COM The NCAA might reinstate the limit of 85 scholarships per football program by 2022, and that could dramatically impact recruiting...
  10. To my knowledge there has not been a change to the policy in the last eight years. Pac-12 passes athlete reforms, including guaranteed 4-year scholarships WWW.ESPN.COM The Pac-12 passed sweeping changes for athletes in all of the conference's sports Monday, guaranteeing four-year scholarships...
  11. Yikes! I hadn't seen those number before, that is absurd. Don't know if it still happens but bowls used to send "representatives" to games during the regular season which I'm certain were all expenses paid. What a thankless job, fly around the country to watch college football and be hosted in the press box.
  12. In theory this is a one year exception? Poking around looking for the 'average' cost of a D1 recruiting trip turned up the wide disparity in recruiting budgets. Surprised Oregon is 1/3rd of Georgia. Wonder if the private jet is considered loaned at no cost? An Analysis Of College Football Recruiting Costs ATHLETICDIRECTORU.COM 38 of the 52 public Power Five schools spent more on college football recruiting in 2019 than the previous year. On average...
  13. Some close to Oregon recruiting believe the Ducks are still in the running. Tweets from the last ten minutes. I hope Bowen's cell phone plan has unlimited minutes.
  14. Is there a Rosetta Stone for social media? Those of us older than dirt sometimes have a difficult time deciphering what is obvious to a teenager.
  15. Isn't Caleb Presley a cornerback while Peyton Bowen is a safety? The loss of Presley was offset by flipping Daylen Austin from LSU.
  16. Rumor is parents want Notre Dame. Mom doesn't look happy when he announces Oregon
  17. 247Sports National Analyst and Lone Star State native Gabe Brooks likes this pickup for the Ducks. “Good height and length with big hands and a lean, athletic frame,” Brooks wrote in his scouting report. “Should be able to add considerable mass. Physical upside is a plus. Excels delivering from the pocket over the middle in the short-to-intermediate passing game. Has shown impressive ball placement consistency to multiple levels. Particularly dangerous hitting moving targets on slants and other inward-breaking routes. Keeps the ball fairly high with a relatively overheard release. Ball gets out quickly enough. Generates encouraging throw power on the run. Good athletic profile that includes experience in the 110-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles, and triple jump. Also owns solid combine testing data. Enormous production across three full varsity seasons. Averaged about 275 passing yards per game across nearly three dozen contests from 2020-22. Top247 QB Austin Novosad flips to Oregon 247SPORTS.COM One of the top quarterbacks in the country is headed to Eugene.
  18. DECEMBER 20 The David Hicks recruiting sage appears headed for overtime. According to On3's Sam Spiegelman, the touted in-state defensive lineman will indeed end the process by inking a National Letter of Intent this week -- but it may not get sent in until Friday. Wednesday is viewed as the new defacto signing day, but in reality it is just the first day or the Early Signing Period. Hicks has long been committed to A&M, and he was back on campus for a critical official visit over the weekend as both Oklahoma and Oregon give chase. Texas A&M LB Transfer Target Commits To USC WWW.MSN.COM Texas A&M Aggies Recruiting Tracker: Check back often as we keep you up-to-date on Texas A&M looking to improve on an...
  19. Listed as 5'10" but only 150-160 lbs. Unless he has DAT quicks not sure what role he would fill. Seven McGee is about the same height and a bit heavier and never found his niche at Oregon.
  20. I imagine Jordan Addison and a couple other receivers will be declaring for the draft.
