My Opinion on Oregon's Future Non-Conference Schedule
I don't see UA or CAL being the threat for a loss as much as UO is. Autzen Is much tougher place to play than Berkley. We have struggled for years getting good schools to commit, and then they back out like UTAM and others. I think we should schedule like 'Bama. All easy wins. Then running the table in the Pac will put us in playoff. Especially at 12+ teams. The games at the end of the season will be the tough ones.

My Opinion on Oregon's Future Non-Conference Schedule
Mullens suggesting a move to 10 conference games is telling. I don't think we as fans really get how difficult it is to get other teams to travel to Eugene. That's why the 3 SEC games were 1 offs. Not home and home. Everybody is watching their budget, also the concerns about appearing "green" are valid concerns for some schools. Distances from competition is real out here in the west. There are way more schools in the east within driving distance. Personally, unless we get a home and home series, I say don't play blue bloods ooc. We are now a good enough program, we don't have to prove anything. I'll take all div 2 schools if it gets us undefeated for a couple years. With expanded playoffs, there will be enough good teams to play. In a few years, we can schedule either LA school as an OOC game.

Oregon's First Pac-12 Championship/Tournament Championship in 60 YEARS is a BIG Step...
I loved that S.Eugene grad, dual sport (DB on our football team) athelete Bryce Boettcher was in the game to make the last out. Totally cool. Keep it going guys!

College Football - Will the SEC go to a 9 Game Conference Schedule or Stay with 8 Like the ACC?
PSU tickets are on sale this weekend for $35. Also for Hawaii. Or you can get both for $50. That's one way to get a home crowd. (I do like the affordability for those who never get to go in person. Game day experience is a great one)

Pac-12/Big-12 TRUTH...
I feel the same, but the reality is college football will probably undergo some huge changes in the notsodistant future. Be ready for some major roller-coaster riding!

Pac-12/Big-12 TRUTH...
Thanks for the summary Mr. Fishduck. I haven't given in to paying yet and I think Mr. Baldface has best insight on Pac12 business.

How Much Did Oregon Gain/Lose From the Portal?
The key with Gonzo was his hard work ethic. And his relationship with coach Meat. I'm hoping each of these transfers see Oregon as a fresh start and a chance to work hard and prove themselves. If that's the case, they should do well and the Ducks should do very well. This was an interesting way to compare transfers. The O-line particularly seems to have gained. Coach DL seems to be a great attractor of talent.

Nebraska President - More B1G Expansion Coming
Parity does increase viewership. No one really wants to watch blow outs regularly. Equal pay and rules helps make better viewing for fans. The TV companies are missing that college sports are followed by regional interests. This attempt at national expansion won't pay off IMO.

Vaunted BiG-10 Media Deal Not Finalized? Uuuuuuuh....
Perhaps all these "minor" details sheds some light on why the Pac12 media deal is taking so long. I hope that means George is making sure it's all worked out correctly.

Is Bo Nix Worth a 1.5 Million NIL?
IIs Bo worth the 1.5M? An analogy: Many years ago my son worked at a little kiosk in the mall selling sports memorabilia and mostly sport cards. He was often asked, "how much is that Jordan rookie card really worth?" Or some such similar question. His answer, "how much are you willing to pay?" Bo is worth exactly what the NIL collective is willing to pay. And for us to have any real legitimate chance of a stellar season, we need Bo Nix. Like the rest of y'all greybeards, I'm sad to see college sports come to this pay for play...but if we want to compete, I guess we need to get on board. All abooaarrrd! Let's go Ducks!

Huskies "Whine" Has Gone Sour About Oregon's Recruiting
It can take time to develop relationships with players, but also with local coaches. I'm guessing Deboer & Co. have work to make up for from previous poor UW recruiting efforts. It is fun to see all the excuses they come up with. But really, coach Lanning is genuine, players and parents see that, and he has hired great recruiting coaches. And ones that develop talent. I think all the support that Oregon has from the school, community, the facilities, the NIL support, puts us way ahead of Udub. For all their rhetoric, they are behind putting money where their yappy mouths are!

College Football 2023 Playoff Outliers - You're Saying There's a Chance?
Well, the Beavs schedule sets up pretty nice for them. They have a good chance to start 3-0, and they get Utah, UW and UCLA at home. At WSU and at UO are toughest games. Their 1st conference game and their last. Winning the Pac-12 this year won't be easy. May come down to team with fewest injuries.

Colorado Leaving the Pac-12 for the Big-12?
Neon Dion must realize he stands a better chance of winning against the likes of Nebraska et Co. then he does against the Pac12. Sounds like a panic move to me.

TT's 2nd Half
If we analyze Bo's throws, he too looked pretty inept most of the day. Many throws too long, wounded ducks, or low and away. Spring games, with teams divided for equality, are pretty difficult to get a true feel for. Add in a new offense, I'm not going to give up on TT just yet. IMO, he needs game time action to build his confidence. I also recall there was much lamenting about Bo preseason last year, so I'm gonna wait and see with TT.

Christian Gonzales to New England Patriots,17th Pick
Echos of Patrick Chung here! All the best Christian! I bet you will be first all-star from this year's db class. Those cold winters in Colorado will help you for New England. And your first round choice will help coach Meat get better recruits. Go work hard, and show your stuff.

QUAACK! Luke Moga, 3-Star Quarterback, Commits to Oregon Ducks
I understand he is a rising star, thus his status should improve by signing day. Also, coach Stein is supposed to be a great qb developer.
