  1. Kinda doubt this. I'm sure the UO helped considerably, of course.
  2. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
  3. Thanks so much! 🙂
  4. I've been googling this with no luck. Anyone have a link to this interview right after the game (on the field)?
  5. Before the game I talked to an Ohio State fan in the shuttle bus parking lot, and he said he thought the Ducks and the Buckeyes could end up playing each other 3 times this year. Could be... 🙂
  6. I just want to say kudos to all on this board who followed the plans talked about here to make as much noise as possible at the game! At times I "could hardly hear myself think" and I believe that was also true for the Buckeyes on many occasions.
  7. I didn't know who Kaitlin Olson is either, and had been hoping for Devan Long, but I thought she was very entertaining and funny, and ended up enjoying her participation.
  8. Three times I've been to the Friday Game Day. Twice when it was over by Autzen, so no problem parking. Once when it was on campus, and before paying for parking got so complicated (to me). It was a lot of fun, but parking on campus is more difficult these days.
  9. Just wondering. Is anyone going to Game Day on Friday, when it is in the afternoon and not crowded, but is on-air sporadically? Or Saturday, when, of course, it is early, dark, but on air for 3 hours?
  10. While megaphones are not allowed in the stadium, those newspapers they hand out before games are--and they can be rolled up to work as megaphones. 🙂
  11. I'm hoping for Devan Long, former DE for the Ducks, now actor, plays Thor on Ghosts.
  12. With Mario, it wasn't so much that he left, but how he left. Understandable that he'd want to go back to his home town. But he had one foot out the door in early November, and I think that cost us a game or two.
  13. Bedford didn't play in the UCLA game, so maybe the offense would have scored more with him in there?
  14. His wife is a Daisy Duck, so I had heard this sad news. He was a speaker at Daisies more than once, and sometimes came by with a stack of Fighting Ducks Illustrated. He had tried to sell the magazine, but with no luck. He and his magazine will be greatly missed.
  15. So sorry for the loss of your Dad. My deepest sympathy. It's said that no one is really gone as long as someone is alive to remember them, so your Dad will live on in your heart and memories.
  16. I really appreciate the takeaways, because I fell asleep somewhere in the first half, woke up at half time, and went to bed. Fie on late start times. Nice to read the article and get a better idea of what happened.
  17. I always wonder how the animals feel about it all.
  18. Well, I'm in Eugene, and with my biorhythms, I'm apt to be curled up in the Barcalounger, and, if not snoring, definitely snoozing by the start of the second half! I also am rooting for the Ducks to not just win, but to be way ahead by half-time.
  19. That was certainly my hope. Should've known better.
  20. Only one vote for person per day. https://10best.usatoday.com/awards/travel/best-college-sports-tradition-2024/shout-university-of-oregon/
  21. I figured that whenever the 4 West Coast teams play each other that the start times would late. But I had hoped that when we played B1G teams in the Eastern time zone, whether here or there, that games would start here no later than 5:00. (Silly me.) But already there is a 6:00 pm game with MI State here. I guess the Spartan fans are okay with their game starting at 9:00 pm their time???
  22. I'll be in my jammies, and may just watch the first half, depending on how the game is going.
  23. My husband was on the sidelines for that game as a guest faculty coach. Now I think guest coaches (if they still have them) sit up in the enclosed seats somewhere.
  24. Well, the most memorable is the 2000 Holiday Bowl where Oregon beat Texas and Joey scored on a pass, run, and reception. Also, 95% of the TX fans were insufferable the whole time we were in San Diego, so very satisfying to see them slinking out of the stadium after the game as the Duck fans stayed to watch the fireworks. Also, it was just a wonderful trip with my dear husband, and a memory I revisit often.
