PittDuck No. 3 Share Posted October 6, 2022 Those are the absolute most hideous uniforms I have ever had the misfortune of viewing. There was a thread last week asking about the uniforms worn for the Stanford game. At least those uniforms had Duck colors. At 52 years old, I am much older than the target audience for these uniforms. And I love my ducks, and will cheer for them just as loudly regardless of what they are wearing. It reminds me of the time when my mom let me wear my Star Trek pajamas to school in first grade. She told me it wasn't a good idea, but she fully supported me, so she let me. And they do have "nightmare green" elements in the numbers and helmets, so at least we can pretend school colors are involved! It’s hard enough to win on the road why give the enemy another reason to kick your but. David Marsh No. 28 Share Posted October 6, 2022 I'm not crazy about the egg shell uniforms. I think they cool fine up close and clean. But once on the field and if you add a grass stain to them they just look dirty. The speckles then look like mud. Not my favorite but way better than other uniforms we have worn in the past. This is an interesting thread in that it shows passionate disagreement... One of the things that Charles says is OK and acceptable, as long as we are nice to each other. You will notice in my quote I skipped over the first part that says, "I'm not fond of the uni, but".
