Posted November 10, 20231 yr Administrator Hello My OBD FishDuck Forum Friends! What is your prediction versus USC? Take your shot and let's have fun with it... Lets get these predictions started, and remember I look for the differential between your predicted points with both teams from the actual points. I will use the tiebreaker information when needed, so provide all the data below! Entries without ALL the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count. Please follow directions, as I need all that is below for tiebreakers: --the winner --the score --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team --the number of passing yards by the Ducks. My prediction is: Oregon, 70-30, 2, 4, 362 My prediction might be a bit wishful, but we need to win big, as I think style points are important with as many one-loss teams as there are. But I do think that if Oregon can score on their first three drives....the Trojans will lose heart and the landslide will be on. Gonna be a lot of these... Tonight at the OBD Get-Together--I will explain why I think this will happen within Oregon's offensive and defensive game-plans. Mr. FishDuck
November 10, 20231 yr (If) Ducks win 58-42 3 4 362 Really not sure about this game. USC offense is elite. USC defense just needs a couple stops or a takeaway. A simplified D that can rally behind a new face might be fatal. Doubt Ducks win a close one like Husky did. If Ducks win it will be by more than 2 TDs as vegas says.

But my friends have been known to call me 'Eyeore' on occasion. 🙂
November 10, 20231 yr Moderator Winner - OREGON Losers - Old Right Coasters. Fox is messing with bedtime. Score - 49 - 31 TOs by SC - 2 Sacks - 1 Pass Yards 250 Run Yards - Can Bucky put up 200 on his own?

And I thought that I was THE guy dipping into the proverbial kool-aid a bit too much 😳 🤣 😀 😉 I actually love your prediction. In my mind, if they come out playing like they did against Utah or Colorado, I think that Bo will be riding the pines for the entire fourth quarter, as TT gets some more quality minutes. Meaning, your 70 points is entirely possible. If the USC defense has not had some miraculous "Come to Hey-Zues" moment since the new D coach was announced, there is no question that 70 points is possible. And the likelihood of the USC D doing some sort of a 180 in six days, seems ridiculously low. My only hesitation is that I keep reminding myself that these guys do have the weapons to pull off a big surprise. Regardless, I'm going with Oregon 55 - USC 31.

If we can put 63 on Cal? And we will run the ball easier on USC? And the Trojans have not faced a top-ten defense yet? I want 70! Mr. FishDuck

USC has three former 5* and a bunch of former 4* on that team. Grinch is gone but it's not like they aren't Dudes.

November 10, 20231 yr Moderator Ducks 59 - 20 3 TOs 4 sacks 333 passing yards Tie breaker #4: Number of weeks sc has off before "their" conference championship game. I’m going with 314, 54 weeks until the BIG game next year plus 5 years. However, they will have extra practice time before the ucla game since they won't have film study again this week. Too bad this isn’t an away game where we are limited to the number of players traveling so that we could leave Luke Dunne at home and make room for another player. GO DUCKS, keep me up till midnight watching Charles' 70 burger.
November 10, 20231 yr Score: 52-17 Ducks Turnovers: 3 Sacks: 4 Passing Yards: 375 I think USC reverses course with Oregon and loads the box. Look for Gary Bryant Jr. to go off for 100 yards and three TDs.
November 10, 20231 yr Ducks win 52-49 2 -TO 1- SACK 304 yards passing Could be a redemption game for CL. All season long the 2023 Ducks have done the opposite of my prediction.. this should ensure a Duck blowout victory. The anticipation, coupled with an uneasiness about this game has me on the edge of my seat. GEEZ..... Go Ducks....
November 11, 20231 yr Mr. Fishduck, Sir, Ducks 57-24 3 turnovers 4 sacks 310 passing yards & 305 rushing yards. Wouldn't a punt return TD for the Ducks be just right? Thanks for taking the time for the Fishduck presentation on our DT's sack moves. Kansas City is just a mite bit too far for a Friday afternoon flight. VR, KCDuck1
November 11, 20231 yr Moderator Ducks win 77 - 13 Ducks get 2 ints and recover 1 fumble and 1 blocked punt Ducks sack Williams 6 times Nix throws for 389 yards and TT throws for 120 yds

November 11, 20231 yr --the winner Ducks of course --the score 72 - 36 *pour it on guys!" --turnovers Oregon creates 4 --sacks Oregon records 6 --passing yards by the Ducks. 310 Go Ducks! Cut their heart out. Edited November 11, 20231 yr by Joe F
November 11, 20231 yr Moderator So many positive vibes! Oregon 54-34 2 TO 4 Sacks 345 yds passing Add to that 255 on the ground for 600 yds total offense. Run it up, Ducks. Williams gets his but there will be enough stops through the first half and first part of the 3rd that he has to go hero mode and throws a pick or two.
November 11, 20231 yr --the winner ... Ducks, of course --the score ... 42 - 35 --the amount of turnovers Oregon creates ... 3 --the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team ... 3 --the number of passing yards by the Ducks ... 288 GO DUCKS!
November 11, 20231 yr Winner - DUCKS! Score - 56 - 28 Turnovers - 4 Sacks - 4 Passing Yards - 322 Bonus: Caleb Williams will be unable to finish the game.
November 11, 20231 yr Ducks 63-21 3 6 378 conservatively Haven't placed a bet in years but this is the easiest cover I have ever felt confident in. Ducks will get up big, Caleb will have to pass. Oh geez, the D line is going to go crazy. I see another fire in the eyes, no mercy looking DL not only for the game but for recruiting purposes! USC has already quit on the season. Maybe some single game records will fall. Bummed Oregon doesn't allow being on college sports!! Now I probably jinxed them. 🤣

Personnel changes are what give me pause. Maybe SC leads at the half in a worst case scenario, but I don't see SC hanging for anything close to 4 quarters. Oregon 42-38 3 5 368
