Hello My OBD FishDuck Forum Friends!

What is your prediction versus Oregon State?  Take your shot and let's have fun with it...

Lets get these predictions started, and remember I look for the differential between your predicted points with both teams from the actual points.  I will use the tiebreaker information when needed, so provide all the data below!

Entries without ALL the information are invalid, and predictions on other threads don't count.

Please follow directions, as I need all that is below for tiebreakers:
--the winner

--the score

--the amount of turnovers Oregon creates

--the number of sacks Oregon records on the opposing team

--the number of passing yards by the Ducks.

My prediction is:

Oregon,

52-20,

2,

3,

321

It is an aggressive pick because I think Oregon wants to even things up, assert our STANDARD, and blow off some steam.

* I posted a prediction in the wrong thread. I chose to change the score, as I think Oregon State will make this a good game. That's the reason my prediction is different btw.

This game is everything to that program. You know them keeping Oregon out of the playoff would be almost as sweet as making it themselves. You guys destroyed the rivalry🤑😉 In their eyes at least .

Coach Lanning has a tape of last year's loss running continuously in the locker room this last week.  The sting of that loss burns, and Oregon is not going to have less emotion, nor will they let up.

If Oregon State actually steals the 35 million earned by Oregon this year--the Beavers do not deserve to ever play Oregon again in any sport.

Trust me...they feel the same way.

I have no doubt Oregon wants to crush Oregon State. I guess my limited knowledge of the bad blood leads me to see Oregon as clearly big brother. Sort of like Oklahoma to Okie State, Iowa to Iowa State, Michigan to Michigan State , or Washington to Washington State.

Florida and FSU are largely on par imo. Oregon State hates Oregon. Oregon hates USC more than Oregon State imo. Much like Michigan State hates Michigan, Michigan hates Ohio State much more than MSU.

True.  But nothing compares to my loathing of Washington....and now that I've written the "W" word...I have to turn and spit.

I think the Ducks are angry and want to win this with style. My only worry is if they knock out DJU, that Aiden Chiles will come in. I think he's a better QB than their starter and might give their offense some life.

The Beavs will try to slow the game down and their run game will have some success. Bo, Troy, Tez, TFerg and Co. will take the top of off the defense but won't finish every drive with a TD. Lewis will actually step up with a couple FGs.

The defense will play with their hair on fire, pick off DJU once and get enough stops to let Autzen rock "Shout" at the end of three. No 4th qtr let down this year. Dorlus plays like a man possessed, the center of the D-line does their part and Jacobs and Williams get Martinez to the ground.

Ducks win

49-17

Revenge against the team that not only embarrassed the Duck players and coaches but gloated about it.

Charles, not only should you turn your head and spit but wash your mouth out with soap for capitalizing the W........

Am I the only one who thinks this will be close?  🙁

Apparently.  That's OK.  I'd be happy to be wrong!  38-28 Oregon

I have 38-24. Not as close as you but closer than most. Beavs are going to put up a good fight. A slow start by the Ducks and long drives by the beavis will keep the score close. Even if the Ducks score fast the beavis could control the clock so the Ducks only get a couple possessions a qtr. But yeah I'm really wishing for a 56-21 type game.

To pass Jon's "eye test" O needs to win this game decisively (ie: by at least the -14 points they're favored).  But the Beavers, nasty creatures that they are, seldom like to comply with the script.  I'd love to see a 56-21 game too. But...
